I stayed at Alaska Grizzly Lodge with my sister from Japan from Sep 21 to 26, 2013. I loved the lodge! The décor was very nice and I was able to feel Alaska everywhere in the lodge and I took a lot of pictures of the lodge and the 3 very friendly and well-mannered dogs! My wife and I spent 3 most wonderful nights at lodge. We watched aurora borealis Three days in a row from my balcony. Amazing location! Anita, owner of the lodge, provides different but delicious breakfast every day. Since most of us did not bring enough clothes for standing under -20 F outdoors, she offered heavy coats and boots to make our surora viewing so enjoyable. Anita provides lots of advices that make our trip a lovely memory of life time.

I have no complaints. I was in and out, stayed 5/7 nights on a week
vacation. It was a solo vacation and I felt safe. I was greeted by name,
had assistance for storage of belongings, obtaining a taxi, and
recomendations for meals. They have internet and a printer to get your
boarding pass. The bed and linen were great, I had back spasms and spent
a fair amount of time resting. I would stay there again.

My kids loved the swimming pool, even though it was freezing cold! The
hot tub was very nice. One of our two rooms (King suite) was very nicely
arranged. The staff were really nice and helpful. -

This must be one of the best bargain options in Alaska. We paid 75 dollars for a spacious double room, that was clean and had everything necessary for even a longer stay. Wi Fi was perfect. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night and had to leave early in the morning, so we can say nothing about breakfast quality.
Generally, this place, if they keep their present rates, is highly recommended.
