  We really liked the apartment that backed up to the Alaska State Museum. It was very quiet and it was very functional. We cooked every morning and evening - lowering our travel expenses. It was located around the corner from a wonderful restaurant for breakfast and lunch and juat a block from a very well supplied grocery. The staff were very h... wat mensen zeggen » elpful and the shuttles to and from the ferry/airport were very convenient and efficient. Great stay - and we were there 8 nights total! - The efficient and free shuttle to and for the ferry terminal and the airport is a $100 round trip value. The drivers are knowledgeable about the area with good suggestions for hikes, tickets for shuttles to Mendenhall Glacier, etc. computer in lobby for printing boarding passes also helpful. And they let you check in as soon as a room is ready when you come in on a ferry in the early morning.

  The staff was incredibly helpful. Tony at the front desk did everything he could to assist us even after we checked out of the hotel. He kept an eye on our luggage while we spent the day in Fairbanks and while our second hotel refused to pick us up, Tony arranged for our transfer. Outstanding service in the hotel and in the restaurant. We would ha... wat mensen zeggen » ve preferred to have stayed in the Regency Fairbanks over our transfer to Sophie Station Suites. - This must be one of the best bargain options in Alaska. We paid 75 dollars for a spacious double room, that was clean and had everything necessary for even a longer stay. Wi Fi was perfect. Unfortunately, we only stayed for one night and had to leave early in the morning, so we can say nothing about breakfast quality. Generally, this place, if they keep their present rates, is highly recommended.

  Drivers of vans were wonderful and extremely helpful. They were our only source of transportation. Breakfast was wonderful each and every day---ice cream in the evening was also truly appreciated.   Hotel rooms in Anchorage during the summer are outrageously priced. Coming here to shop and paying those prices is tough. This hotel is a good answer to that problem. The accommodations were adequately comfortable. The hotel walls are somewhat thin and there is a lot of outdoor noise ie: train, traffic, pedestrians.   Sauerdough Lodging's studio was bright, airy, and very charming. It's in a very old building, and much of the original character remains. It was very comfortable to stay in, and the location is perfect - right in the original Seward downtown. Right in the heart of downtown Seward. The room was really adorable, and although we only stayed there one night, the kitchen would have been really fun to take advantage of.
