We really liked the apartment that backed up to the Alaska State Museum. It was very quiet and it was very functional. We cooked every morning and evening - lowering our travel expenses. The efficient and free shuttle to and for the ferry terminal and the airport is a $100 round trip value. The drivers are knowledgeable about the area with good suggestions for hikes, tickets for shuttles to Mendenhall Glacier, etc. computer in lobby for printing boarding passes also helpful. And they let you check in as soon as a room is ready when you come in on a ferry in the early morning.

Drivers of vans were wonderful and extremely helpful. They were our only source of transportation.
Breakfast was wonderful each and every day---ice cream in the evening was also truly appreciated.

My kids loved the swimming pool, even though it was freezing cold! The
hot tub was very nice. One of our two rooms (King suite) was very nicely
arranged. The staff were really nice and helpful. -

I have no complaints. I was in and out, stayed 5/7 nights on a week
vacation. It was a solo vacation and I felt safe. I was greeted by name,
had assistance for storage of belongings, obtaining a taxi, and
recomendations for meals. They have internet and a printer to get your
boarding pass. The bed and linen were great, I had back spasms and spent
a fair amount of time resting. I would stay there again.
