  It was indeed a memorable stay for two weeks at this motel. Both Mr Sean and Mr Jake were too good a person to take care of their guests and they made my stay very smooth. Room facilities were enough to take care of one's daily need and so conveniently located that you are so near to downtown and hence all the tit bits alongwith. - The owner and ... wat mensen zeggen » staff were very friendly and helpful. And the rooms were actually very clean. Facilities were minimal as were the amenities, but if all you need was a bed at a reasonable price, you got to the right place. Close to downtown Rapid City.   The rooms are newly redone. It was bright and I must say, quite fancy for a motel. The rooms are a little small, but doable. I've read reviews of people complaining of noise from the freeway there, but our room was the closest to it, and it didn't bother us any. There is a pool, but we never had the chance to use it. So don't expect many amenit - I was really surprised at how modern and comfortable it was. There is a 40s style diner next door which serves excellent breakfast. The decor is modern. The bathroom nice and the bed comfortable. It was quite at night despite being full.

  Owners , John (and wife), have owned and operated this quiet cabin location for 18 years. They are exceptionally friendly and helpful, not to mention welcoming. They take great pride in their ownership and facilities. John walked us to our cabin, opened our door and described the amenities that were available in our cabin. This is nicely located for trips to visit Mount Rushmore and other attractions in the Black Hills. The beds were comfortable and the shower was good. They are older cabins but well cared for. Instead of a tv in main area, each bedroom has it's own small flatscreen.
