  Nice medium sized hotel in a good location. This hotel has about 50 rooms on 7 floors, a small breakfast area on the ground floor and fitness room with sauna and steam room in the basement. It is about a 5 minute walk from wall street subway station and 5 to 10 minutes from the south street seaport and the Staten island ferry (a great free way to ... wat mensen zeggen » see the statue of liberty). Its worth going for a wander near by as there are quite a few restaurants, coffee shops and delis not to far away. We had - The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and the hotel was beautiful. Conveniently located right near the Manhattan side of the Brooklyn Bridge, it was a short walk to multiple Subway stations, the Brooklyn Bridge, Wall Street, Pace University, the 9/11 Memorial, and Battery Park. I have stayed in central manhattan in the past and by comparison I think the lower east side had more soul and we felt more at home and that we were locals for the couple of weeks that we stayed there. Many buses both cross town and up and downtow - This Bed and Breakfast is the most desirable hotel we have ever stayed in the New York City area. From the exceptionally clean lobby, friendly and competent manager-- along with the quietness of the rooms where we had stayed on two different occasions-I fully recommend this Bed and Breakfast to anyone who would like to have peace and quiet while visiting New York.   Small quiet hotel, so no queues to check in or out. Great location, close to Central Park, Rockefeller Centre etc,also close to metro line.Friendly, helpful staff. Very comfy beds. No facilities, other than the attractive roof terrace, but no problem as excellent diner across road and close to P J Clarkes. Grea - Right at Lexington and 55th, which is a perfect location. Clean rooms, safe, good airco. Comfortable bed, yet a bit small for two persons. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can recommend this place if you need a place to sleep. No more , no less. There's no hanging out in the lobby and meet up with some people, because there is no lobby/bar. The entrance has a counter and the elevator up.

  We stayed at Four Points for 4 nights, once we landed in Newark Airport we caught the bus to Port Authority Bus Terminal (Newark Airport Express Bus), the price was $28 each return, or $16 each way. The Four Points hotel is located right next to the bus station (the bus stops on 42nd St – but at the back of the bus station is 40th St where the hot... wat mensen zeggen » el is), the bus pickup point back to the airport is on 41st St. Our room wasn’t ready when we checked in, but they let us leave all our cases and bags - The staff was amazing especially Kathia and Mohammed. Kathia was the young lady that checked us in and she was very helpful as well as kind and considerate. Mohammed was one of the gentlemen in the lobby. He stored our luggage so we could go ahead and go site-seeing while we waited on our room. When the room was ready Kathia was very quick to finish the paperwork and get us checked in. Instead of waiting for our luggage, Mohammed told us to go on up to the room and he would bring it up for us.

  Excellent location,close to all major attractions in New York in fact within walking distances.Clean rooms and clean beds with neat linens.In fact when I wanted to change the room allotted to me which did not have a locker to one which had,they did it immediately. Throughout the day free coffee and tea is available in the lobby. The fitness is relatively small but good, with new equipment (2 tredmills, 1 cross trainer, a bike and some weights). Although our room was almost next to the elevator, it didn't bother us. There are only 6 rooms per floor, which limits the traffic.
