What a beautiful town & hotel.Stayed here for 5 days in July as we had travelled to see the Moto Gp racing at Laguna Seca. We had Yamaha & Ducati pit crew staying in our hotel. Well placed for the Harbour and bars etc. Fishermans Wharf is beautiful. must have been around 1000 motorbikes parked n the streets. Amazing place. Will definitely

Almost everything about the motel. We planned to stay one night and
ended up staying four. The hot tub and pool are great, the room was
quiet and clean, and it was comfortable. The staff were very

I liked the layout of the room. There were many features (such as the fridge, TV, microwave, closet, desk and sitting chair) that were spaced well and logically. I also appreciated the blackout drapes, since our room faced the parking lot and pool area.

also made the reservation for the wrong night and he did not charge me
to change it- and he lowered the price. The room was clean and exactly

My husband and I came here for a quick, unplanned shopping/golfing trip, and we really picked this hotel of it's close location to all the downtown dining/shopping AND golfing. What we didn't expect, for the price we paid, how nice this place was! Everything looked new! Very nice look and feel of the whole hotel. The rooms were clean, smelt nice, and we slept very well on the comfortable beds. We are so happy with this hotel. Everyone should definitely stay here. We are coming back here again s

It was beautiful. Very comfortable. I booked for a group of friends and was pleasently surprised at how nice it was. We really enjoyed our stay although it was only 1 night. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The gentlemen making the omletes on the morning of June 8th did a amazing job and was very interactive with us. Its not often you remember the cook.

The location of this hotel is incredible, right on the beach with a
restaurant on the top floor. We watched dolphins playing in the waves as
we chowed down on amazing pancakes and eggs benedict. Its also right on
a bike path into Monterey, 20 min ride one way and in the other
direction, wild empty wild beaches and sand dunes for miles. We went to

Their location is right on a beautiful beach with uninterrupted views of the Pacific Ocean - it's fantastic! The hotel is also well designed to allow views and access to the ocean all throughout the facility.
This Best Western truly takes advantage of its prime location.
Also it is very conveniently located right off the Highway 1, and is just outside of Monterey so the beach is primarily for hotel guests!

The room was very tastefully appointed, with attention to detail. Although the hotel is in the center of the tourist area, our room was quiet. The parking facilities were across a walkway but quite easy to get to and from. There was a good breakfast selection in the restaurant. The staff were very helpful in providing us with directions to get to San Francisco.

Hotel is in a great part of the coast between LA and SF. The hotel was comfortable and within walking distance of the shops. We did drive to the old fisherman's wharf. But this was because we were out of time and tired. All part of the hotel were clean but we were a bit disappointed we could not do the laundry after 10 pm. Breakfast was good howev

Overall a good place to stay -
The hotel was good. Had a self service laundry. Some rooms have a chaise lounge which was big enough for our 11 year old to sleep on, but make sure you ask for one when you check in. The hotel is on the edge of town, but walking distance to Fishermans wharf. There is a free tram to Cannery row and the aquarium. Best place to eat - Rosines on Alverado street. HUGE portions of cake. Best breakfast - Denny's just across the road.

The price in August was $69/night for 2 queen beds, which is great
for the area. The room was clean with new tv, linens and furnishings --
even new windows, and it also included a microwave, refrigerator and
small coffee pot. It did not include a hair dryer, but I was able to get
one from the manager.

The hotel location was great as it was close to everything. I told the staff I was celebrating an anniversary and not only did they give us a complimentary bottle of wine, but they called the restaurant where we had a reservation and told them so they did something special for us. The hotel room was clean. The hotel restaurant was great.

The lady who checked us in was very friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The complimentary happy hour was a good opportunity to meet others staying at the hotel and the ambiance was nice, we sat on a sofa by the fireplace. The staff were VERY friendly and accommodating.
The breakfast was excellent.
The room was totally updated.
The bathroom was updated and the shower/jaccuzi was fantastic!
The roof was a patio where you can sit and watch the ocean while sipping your drink.

When I arrived, there was no one at the front desk. A "motel maid" was kind and checked me in and gave me a better room than what I expected. Later, I asked the two men at the front desk for information and was given a wealth of help.
