  Our room was quite big with a wonderful bathroom and shower. Also, it faced into the courtyard, which meant that we couldn't hear much of the party noise in front of the hotel. As we were celebrating our anniversary we received complimentary breakfast, which was very good and served until noon. The service on the beach was also excellent. One time we accidentally left a tip of $105 for breakfast (ins - My experience at Hotel Breakwater was perfect and flawless. Perfectly located on the best area of South Beach FL. Cross the road to one of the best beaches in the area. The staff are super friendly and helpful. I have not noticed anything but a smile all through my stay! In particular Mr. Curtis and the night duty gentleman from front desk. They made my stay beautiful. Thanks guys I won't forget to thank Mr. Jimmy the General Manager who makes runs the whole friendly show. I will definitely not

  Loved the decor, the light airy space that has been created throughout the ground floor. The pool area was lovely with comfortable and stylish seating. Restaurant was good for burgers, pasta etc and not too expensive. Our room (410) was spacious and very trendy with views over the pool and South Beach beyond.   We enjoyed our room location we had the best of both worlds, views of the city and the ocean! Great, Great, Great!!!! Staff were the best! We loved the attention at the door, the welcome from the guest desk and the assurance that everything met our needs even before we got to our room!   This hotel is the absolute best I've ever been to!!!!!! And I've been to a lot of hotels all around the world. The staff is absolutely amazing,the food is exquisite, the landscape is beatiful, the interior design is so modern and unique,the pool was warm,the view from the balcony is breathaking!I felt special,relaxed,welcomed and pampered througho... wat mensen zeggen » ut the 2 full days I stayed there and I would absulutely come back here again in the future! The hotel is a whole lot better than you could se it on t - We had a suit and it had everything me and wife wanted, clean bathroom, jacuzzi and ocean view very nice. also every Saturday there's a pool party with live dj. If you want to avoid valet parking witch cost 38$ a day there's public self parking right next to the hotel for 1$ an hour from 8am-6pm after that it's free

  A quirky, eclectic family-run hotel in the heart of South Beach. The James Hotel is owned and run by Sr. Torre and his daughter, and the care and love they have for their property is evident throughout. The staff is wonderful and accommodating - without exception, every staff member was happy and helpful. It was an amazing value. Lots of space in the room, yes the furniture is a bit out of date, but it worked perfectly fine and it was very clean. I will always stay here when I'm in south beach. They are also very flexible with check in and check out times. My flight arrived at 9am and they let me into my room well before the designated check in time.

  Was a great hotel to stay at. Was over looking the back of hotel and was spaying in a jacuzzi suite, I called n asked to be changed and they did within minutes. Put us overlooking Collins avenue. Top to bottom z ocean was exactly what a young couple needed. Not crazy kids screaming off balconies, it was romantic and relaxing the entire stay. Would def recommend it again - Doesn't look much from the outside, but we had a penthouse suite with pool terrace which was great. Room spacious, bed & pillows very comfortable. Great staff - particularly the concierge. Late check out not a problem. Front Porch Cafe excellent for breakfast & lunch but less suitable for a special dinner.
