  We love the friendly atmosphere and the references to early Hollywood films and actors! The staff were all friendly and very responsive to our needs and requests. When we needed anything, such as a bathmat or the sink unclogged, they were there immediately!   How could we not love our spectacular suite! Although our luxury King room on the 19th floor with views over the Hollywood hills was lovely and we would stay in this room type again, we upgraded to the breathtaking 2100 sq foot "panorama suite" on the 20th floor with a 270 degree panoramic view of the entire city and the beautiful Hollywood Hills.... wat mensen zeggen » The staff was absolutely wonderful from check in to check out and all encounters in between. Manager Steven was the crowning jewel amongst the staff - 1. We initially booked the deluxe double room however it was quite cramp and small. The next day we upgraded to a Junior suite which had a king size bed and a sofa bed (queen size probably?) which was very spacious. 2. Located in the heart of Hollywood. Connected to Hollywood/Highland Centre (one of the best spots to view the Hollywood sign) and right next to the Hollywood/Highland Red Line metro station. One metro stop from Universal City and a very short walk to the star walk, TCL theatre etc

  My 14 year old daughter and I stayed at the Shore this past June for 7 nights. Each room has a balcony. We were moved to an ocean -front room since we were staying for a week which was very generous. The location is probably the best in Santa Monica. It is not for those who are looking for traditional or fancy. The staff is very nice as well. I love - Fantastic location right opposite famous Santa Monica pier and behind Bloomingdales and shopping on 3rd Promenade. Rooms were modern and bathroom has clear glass wall to see into bedroom, which was a novelty for my 7yo daughter. Free internet/wifi was fantastic. Was given glass of champagne at check in which was a nice surprise. My daughter loved the heated pool.
