I had a friend coming into town who is considering moving to LA and, in an effort to make his decision a little easier, I wanted to make sure he stayed at my favorite hidden spot in LA. I stayed in the Gloria, a beautifully furnished 2-bedroom, 2-bath villa with a large patio. It truly felt like a home awa - We loved this place. We were lucky enough to receive a complimentary upgrade from studio to 1 br. The apartment was big, with top quality washer / dryer and full kitchen. So much better value than a hotel. The bed was the most comfortable we've ever slept in with top quality linens and very good toiletries. Wi-fI is super hi-speed. There is a large flat screen tv in both the living area and the bedroom. Lots of storage in the bedroom. Lovely casual but elegant furnishings. Parking was

  I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the intercontinental. The staff were amazing and made my stay as comfortable as possible. I even got a text on my cell phone asking if we needed any help. There wasn't a wait for valet to bring the car up.

  My husband and I had a wonderful kid-free vacation in West Hollywood while we stayed at the Chamberlain. The rooms were very clean and the lobby had a nice, luxurious feel top it, almost a modern take on Old Hollywood.   My 14 year old daughter and I stayed at the Shore this past June for 7 nights. Each room has a balcony. We were moved to an ocean -front room since we were staying for a week which was very generous. The location is probably the best in Santa Monica. It is not for those who are looking for traditional or fancy. The staff is very nice as well. I love - Fantastic location right opposite famous Santa Monica pier and behind Bloomingdales and shopping on 3rd Promenade. Rooms were modern and bathroom has clear glass wall to see into bedroom, which was a novelty for my 7yo daughter. Free internet/wifi was fantastic. Was given glass of champagne at check in which was a nice surprise. My daughter loved the heated pool.
