  This was a return visit for us. The room was perfect, with a view of the ocean and bay. Well build motel so the halls and other room noise was minimal. Nice to open the doors for a lovely breeze to come through. Great location to Newport and southern beaches as well as the outlet mall for shopping. Easy walk to beach, groceries and restaurants. Everything I requested was provided for us, the manager was more - Excellent location, great views with beach front. Rooms were spacious and clean. Friendly staff. Room came with a microwave and a nice size fridge. Had a table and chairs (with wheels) so it was easy to enjoy a snack or meal while enjoying the view. Our room had a small balcony which we very much liked. Not all rooms have that, but all have views. Easy to walk around in historic area and close to many small craft shops, restaurants, and a grocery store. Really nice Historical Museum nearby, too

  The view was incredible. Leaving the windows open allowed us to enjoy the melodic surf during the day and all night. The staff was very accommodating - one of the maintenance personnel even helped fix a broken mirror on the car with duct tape. For the money, this was an incredible value. The continental breakfast was very good. Great variety and good food! The view was fantastic, staff were friendly. We have been here before but it has been quite a few years. I remember now why we always chose the Nordic.:)

  This hotel is conveniently located. Staff were excellent, view from room was good, the room was number 1 and you couldn't of gotten a better breakfast in a restaurant, it was great, full breakfast not just continental.   Being located on the Hwy 101 we were first concerned about noise, but the double windowpanes and possibly good insulation of the walls provided a very quiet night - The staff were friendly and helpful ,and for the money we were more than impressed. If your not worried about looking at the ocean, it's a real bargan.

The front office staff were very friendly. We really liked the continental breakfast and access to coffee/tea at any time. The little things make a big difference in how you feel about a place. The room décor was very simple but tasteful not tacky like the next place we stayed in. The bed linens were nice quality.

  The view was wonderful and it was reasonably quiet considering all the dogs there! I thought the rates were reasonable and the room was spacious and clean. The fireplace was a nice bonus. Also, right across the street from Mo's, which gave me the opportunity to finally try their clam chowder. I was attending a seminar at Salishan Lodge and am so g... wat mensen zeggen » lad I stayed at Looking Glass instead of the Lodge. - The staff and people staying at the Looking Glass were exceptionally nice and helpful! Thought we might have to change rooms due to I'm somewhat allergic to dogs and this is a very pet friendly place, but it all worked out just fine, and the room didn't bother me. Was great leaving the windows open and being able to hear the sounds of the ocean! Lovely place!! The beds were sooo comfortable too.
