Location great, and the restaurants and shops on the ground floor were a plus - the Creme Pot is charming and convenient for breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly, went out of their way to be accommodating. Great view of the city from upper floors. -

The cleanliness of our room and efficiency of the maid services were excellent.
Comfort and size of room was excellent however the sofa bed was slightly unstable. Plenty of extra sheets, lightweight blankets and mattress were available. Maids would not only vacuum every second day, they also washed and dried all towels for us. The view we had on

Simple, clean. Unit needs updating but it is sufficient. Nice to have
the washer/dryer as I worked out alot and it was great being able to
wash clothes. A half block away is the running path along the canal
which was excellent. The building is very secure and you have free
parking which is key in Waikiki as this can be very expensive. There are
plenty of markets and coffee shops around and the beach is 3 blocks
away. If you don't rent a car the buses all stop just around the

Great location - bus stop literally round the corner, beach a short walk away and restaurants and shops everywhere. Staff were helpful and friendly; pool fine; decent-sized lobby for meeting up in; rooms were spacious and clean.

the location was central to everything we did. The rooms were clean, staff were helpful with everything we needed. Nice and close to the beach, shopping, and restaurants. Even though Waikiki goes on all night and there is all kinds of night life, the hotel was quiet. Didn't hear any noise at night to disturb anyones sleep.

I appreciated coffeemaking facilities and microwave, esp. when arriving late at night. Breakfast by the pool was a 'bonus' and saved any concerns re purchasing items for breakfast. My stay at the Polynesian Plaza was wonderful. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was looking for accommodation at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, the staff was excellent and the room was fine. Especially the rooms facing Kalakaua Ave with the balcony as we got a brilliant view of the Halloween festivities on our last night their. I certainly recommend the Polynesian Plaza to anyone seeking something along the lines of what I have highlighted in this review.
