  This place was great! It is right in the middle of all the action, a few minutes walk from everything! The inn was charming and authentic. The host for our stay was inn-sitting and he was amazing!   Stayed on 1st Fl Rm 105. Hotels location was a plus being so near Thames Street & waterfront. The underground garage was great since our car was secure while we walked all over Newport. Housekeeping inquired every night whether any thing was needed prior to morning. The bare brick walls were a nice decor/touch. Rooftop deck was nice to watch the sunset or harbor lig - This place was located in a perfect spot! Two blocks from the center of town. The building had such character and the rooms a beautiful mix of the old with the new. The staff was so helpful and friendly ( especially Jo!)! Awesome view from the top deck of the water. Lots of nice little touches....soft robes, fluffy pillows, good-nite note w/ gummy bears instead of chocolates :-)! Would definitely stay here again!

  The hotel was central to absolutely everything. Walked most of the time. Drove about 2 min to get to Mansions/Cliff Walk. Staff were friendly - allowed us to stay parked for a couple hours after we checked out so we could have lunch. Keurig in room is nice/generous but they need to give a couple more creamers! We had a room with a water view that was spectacular! The staff was great and helped decorate the room with roses and champagne so that my boyfriend could propose when we got back from the vineyards!

Everything was very close, the Mansions were right up the street, as well as the Cliff Walk and many restaurants were within walking distance. Downtown Newport was only a few minutes drive, as well. Everyone very friendly, and the pool was a great asset after spending a few hours on the beach. Awesome!!
