  Room was super. Beds were so comfortable that I have never slept better in my life and the bathroom was equally superb with 2 huge washbasins. In most places nowadays you only get a shallow worthless basin but not in the Blackstone.   From the minute we pulled into the car port we were greeted by friendly, helpful staff that were not pushy in anyway. All they wanted to do was help us unload our luggage, park the car and point us in the right direction and once inside the front desk staff took over on the helpful, friendly atmosphere. The hotel was nice, walking distance to Soldier Feild. Clean & modern hotel, cabs lined up outside to take you anywhere your little heart desires, friendly staff, and we booked through letsbookhotel.com and a received free parking bonus. I compared rates with another large booking company, and letsbookhotel.com was cheaper. I will definately book through them again!

  I liked the views of the lake...they were exquisite. The room was large and comfortable including a minibar and a little kitchenette (sink only). The closet was spacious and the shower head had good pressure. The whole bathroom was really nice. Also, I like the fact that as a guest I have full access to the exercise and locker room facilities. Overall, I was happy with my stay and I would sta - Good location and great view (you can actually see the lake) for $129 a single night made it a bang for buck. The rooms are on the top floor (40th) while the lover levels are offices of different banks. Just thinking about taking a shower above a corner room makes you smile:) Incusive and decent breakfast of my european standard.

  I liked the fact that it's the oldest operating hotel in the country & there is lots of history there. The design is elaborate & like a palace. Location is great for Millenium Park, shopping, & lakefront. The deal at letsbookhotel.com was really reasonable! It was the same price as the single room at the hostel I normally stay at! I'll definitely be coming back there another time &a - Stay every two weeks there; had. first rate Concierge help through Tracey - this time we dined at The Boarding House rest. and met the owner, Alpina Singh (from the WTTW show Check Please); received an autograph and all.while there. A speical night out w/help from The Palmer House. Dr. Brian Hinrichs -always enjoy the Executive floor - thanks also to Ernest for going above and beyond to cater to our snack and breakfast needs

  The staff asked my name when I got out of the taxi and then at every stage as I was passed between concierge to reception to bell hop I was greeted by name. They rang forward to reception and announced that Ms Graham had arrived - a nice rock star touch with the practical benefit that all my paperwork was ready to go at the check in desk. The room is truly luxurious with a great bed. The washroom is beautiful, the separate bath and shower are super nice. Also the gym facilities are top-notch. Definitely recommended.
