Location was outstanding. Central positioning in Midtown, v close to Empire State & Times Square.
Every request from the hotel was met - extra bedding delivered immediately. Staff very helpful and friendly, breakfasts v good.
Some people have complained about the fact that only 2 elevators served (I think) up to 12 floors. Yes there were the

The location is terrific. It is in the middle of manhattan and next to
important subway stations. Extremely convenient transportation. The next
door is 5th avenue and macy'S. Also it is near korean town and cafes
and bars so that both western and eastern style food is easy to get. The
room I am in is quite new, with big tv and good city view to Empire
building (if you stay above 16th floor). Breakfast is very nice indeed.
And the most important, staffs are very nice! Especially Mathew!

I like everything about our stay at the Hampton Inn at 35th St. All of the staff from the desk reception, maintenance and cleaning staff were very friendly and professional! My daughter loved the complimentary hot chocolate. She even commented "Mom, I really like this hotel" and she's only 14. The beds were comfy and everything was cleaned eve

knew what I was going to get. I appreciate the early check in, the late
check out, and, more importantly, thank you for honoring my request for
a crib, it made a huge difference! Jane at the front desk was amazing!

De Plek is echt goed, zeer centraal. Kamers zijn netjes en het personeel vriendelijk! - Het is heel prettig om zo dicht in het centrum te zitten zonder dat je in het hotel merkt dat je midden in de drukte zit (geen lawaai e.d.) En het personeel was zeer dienstverlenend en vriendelijk. Het had iets gezelligs.

Het personeel was aardig en behulpzaam, mooie schone kamer zelfs met keuken, met overvol programma alleen gebruikt voor kopje thee s'morgens vroeg maar elke dag werd er afgewassen en theezakjes bijgevuld, elke dag schoongemaakt en schone handdoeken. Daarbij lag het heel centraal, vlakbij de Grand Central Station en het gebouw van de verenigde natie

Excellent budget hotel much cheaper than most but great value for money. Clean no frills rooms quite large for NYC. We had a Queen bed our room had a small annexe room (no door) for our 18 year old daughter. Each room had a flat screen TV, airconditioners and each a small walk in robe. Quiet rooms comfortable beds. Close to Broadway and shopping.

I loved the hotel. The hotel is old and shows it's age but was very accommodating for experiencing New York and the area. The room was a bit hot, but all things considered like I said it is a old hotel. I would stay there again and again and again. The staff were over top with customer service, anything I asked or I got not problems. I would suggest they smile more, no one in the area of NYC smiles and that is sad, so I understand why they don't, but a conscience effort should be made to s

vriendelijk en behulpzaam balipersoneel . centraal gelegen tov de bezienswaardigheden. - Goede locatie van het hotel in het oosten van Midtown Manhattan. Metrohalte is 5 - 10 minuten lopen. Kamer is zeer ruim, beter dan andere hotel kamers in dezelfde prijsklasse. Erg handig om een klein keukentje in de kamer te hebben. Zeker een aanrader!

The hotel was in a great location. Also, had a lovely lounge and free access to computers which was quite handy. The entire hotel staff were wonderful especially the housekeeping staff.
