  Great place to stay if you know what you are going for. It does not have a front desk. It's all through a password you'll get in the e-mail. It's actually a house in those english styles neighborhoods. Everything inside was clean and nice. The room had a private bathroom which is great. The internet was also very fast. I totally recomend the place... wat mensen zeggen » , specially because you can park for free in the streets in the neighborhood. The metro is nearby and there are plenty of good restaurants around. The - As long as you understand that this is a "guest house," not a hotel, not a b & b, and you understand that it is converted old home, you should have a wonderful time. Don't expect the staffing of a hotel. I chose it for the convenience to the Medstar Hospital complex and it was very easy to travel there. I loved the availability of shared kitchen and living spaces. The owner was very friendly, helpful and concerned that my stay was a success.

  The hotel was under renovation at the time of my visit so they upgraded my room without my even asking for anything. The room was fantastic and spacious. The gym was also closed, but the staff had already made arrangements with a local fitness club to accommodate us free of charge. The room was twice the price, decrepit, ridiculously small and more removed from all the - It would be tuff to say something against, the entire room was renovate, furniture, bed, flooring, appliance etc. The hotel is on his way to be completely renovated. The studio that we had was large. The staff was very "serviable" in french. The location of the hotel was excellent, close to restaurants, museums, art galleries and trolley etc. We've biked from the hotel to the Capitol and the Potomac river is beautiful.

  Everything ! Great area with lots of shops and resturants. Good metro/bus links.The rooms are a great size and there are lots of little extras to make your stay more comfortable.
