  The only downside to staying here is the on-street parking, which is difficult in this neighborhood, given the embassies and restricted resident-only parking areas. Other than that, it was a great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms, free breakfast, great location. But overall, we had a great experience. - It is an old hotel, small European style. but the bed was comfortable, the TV was great, the WiFi was free and worked well, the towels were medium quality which is good, it was quiet, the staff was very nice and helpful, the single room was reasonably sized and the bathroom was redone and clean and efficient. Hair dryer and ironing board were supplied.

I don't know if it was southern hospitality or Hilton training, but everyone we came in contact with, including coffee shop and bar personnel, were friendly and efficient. The staff was fantastic and the value was the best in the area. Ii see other reviewers post about the walls being thin and yes, from the bathroom vent you can hear the people in the adjacent room. It was a relief to have someone check to see if everything was okay within an hour of checking in. It was comforting to know that any problems would have been addressed right away. The staff, with one exception at the Front Desk, was extremely professional and friendly.
