  The location is close enough that I never had to drive anywhere, me and my fiance were able to walk everywhere anytime of day and be safe! Some of the best eateries in New Orleans where with in a easy 5 minute walk! The hotel is clean, looks beautiful, clean, and most of the staff was pretty friendly and helpful. We have decided we will stay here again on our next trip! - Night clerk (Eustice) was one of the most friendly & helpful clerks that I have ever seen at any hotel. He always called us by name. He always asked if there was anything else he could do for us & even offered to refund taxi fare when the cabbie dropped me off at the wrong Hilton! Great man--don't lose him.

  Nice clean hotel within walking distance to convention center, wwii Museum, buses, streetcar stations. We walked to French Quarter and it was a nice 10 ~ 15 min walk. Our room had a king bed, sofa and desk area, kitchen area w/small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a sink. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. If you was in bed you can turn the tv towards the bed, if you was on the couch you can turn the tv towards the couch. I love It!!

We also loved that breakfast and was served Monday each morning, and dinner was served Monday thru Thursday for free, with very good hot and enjoyable meals. The location was great also, within walking distance to everything. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to - My overall stay was awesome!!!! The staff members overall service was superb!!! They were pleasant from the time we checked in up to the moment we checked out. This was one of my best stay at any hotel and I have stayed at many hotels. Management did an awesome job in choosing these employees. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff at the front desk where awesome, so very frie - This place looked little tired but the rooms were large, very clean,really great location with lots of eating places near by also street car straight across road and the staff very very helpful. Breakfast was also included and was really nice and large selection. The only negative was that we stayed the weekend of Jazz Festival and the room price nearly doubled but we would certainly stay there again loved it

  I loved everything about the Blake Hotel. The staff was fantastic. My room was very comfortable and I felt very safe in this location. It has an onsite restaurant that serves good food and it is very close to the French Quarter, Canal Street shopping, the St Charles St trolley and only a 10 minute brisk walk to Cafe du Monde. The location was perfect for us - a short walk from the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, but far enough away that it was quiet at night. Also loved the restaurant downstairs for a quick, convenient meal when we didn't have time to stop elsewhere. Our hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. I read other reviews that said the rooms weren't nice, but ours was very nice. I would definitely stay here again.

  I liked that it was in a quiet street but only a five minute walk from the hub of activity. I absolutely loved the Ruby Slipper right next door for breakfast every morning, why go anywhere else!!
