  Handy location for shopping and being near a larger supermarket, with the kitchnette, we could prepare meals in the room rather than eat out each night. Rooms were reasonable - nothing flash but definitely value for money. Free internet was awesome and not included in many other places we checked out. Close to decent restaurants which were less touristy because the hotel is away from the main areas. - Room was clean and had partial view out to the water. Price was reasonable. Location was within easy walk to Ala Moana shopping centre. Kitchenette was also very handy allowing a night at home cooking.

  Location great, and the restaurants and shops on the ground floor were a plus - the Creme Pot is charming and convenient for breakfast. Staff was very helpful and friendly, went out of their way to be accommodating. Great view of the city from upper floors. - The staff is Excellent! : ) I keep coming. : )

  Location and price. Accommodations were ok. Not fancy but comfortable. Room large, bath tiny,mattress comfortable, tv new. Staff very nice. Across from abc store and room had fridge so didn't have to go out for expensive breakfasts. Restaurant "in" hotel had a delicious salad. Safe to walk at night. Trolley stop across street. - It was nice, clea... wat mensen zeggen » n, cozy, comfortable. Bathroom was nice and big, clean. The money was worth it. It would be nice if they had kitchenette. The pictures online did not do the hotel justice. I originally did not pick because it looked somewhat shady but when I arrived to HNL and saw what it looked like. I booked a reservation.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Polynesian Plaza! Rooms are nice& definately adequate despite negative reviews! Excellent value for money and in the perfect location for shopping in town. The room we had included a mini kitchenette (2 stove tops, microwave, toaster, fridge etc) and also has a lovely pool which we spent a lot of time at and th... wat mensen zeggen » e beach is just a 5min walk away. The room also has air conditioning to cool the room which was great, without this, we wouldn't have been able to st - My stay at the Polynesian Plaza was wonderful. I wasn't expecting a lot as I was looking for accommodation at a reasonable price. The location was perfect, the staff was excellent and the room was fine. Especially the rooms facing Kalakaua Ave with the balcony as we got a brilliant view of the Halloween festivities on our last night their. I certainly recommend the Polynesian Plaza to anyone seeking something along the lines of what I have highlighted in this review.

  By far the most economical choice for lodging in Honolulu, made even better by the fact that Marie actually gave us our last of four nights free (albeit in a smaller room) after a mixup on the number of nights we'd be staying. For those who'd rather spend money on things besides lodging (after all, Hawaii is expensive), Makiki Heights is a perfect... wat mensen zeggen » option. Also, it is just up the hill from where Barry Obama was born, learned to shoot hoops, worked at Baskin Robbins and went to prep school. Thoug - The people are very helpful. You can ask for a ride to/from the airport for $30. You are in the middle of the nature, very quiet. 10/15 min walk to the bus stop which will take you almost anywhere.
