Our experience exceeded our expectations. We thought all of your staff
were very well trained to be friendly to guests. We were there for a
marathon and didn't have dressy clothing and when we had friends
join us in the bar area one evening, we were somewhat underdressed, but
were never treated any differently than anyone else in the hotel. The

We thoiught the staff were - to a person - friendly, helpful, charming and really seemed to go out of their way to help us. The kids loved the St. Regis bags they received. There was a slight problem with our booking which was sorted out in a timely and efficient manner - everyone - from the concierge staff to the reception people were friendly and charming! Well done to all of them! WE will DEFINITELY be back!

The Staff!!! Could not be more gracious without being intrusive...always professional, friendly and available. These folks know how to treat their guests!
Food was delicious. We dined in the Lafayette at least three times and in the lower bar late one evening.
The room, which was upgraded, was lovely, quiet and everything was fresh and clean.

the lobby is beautiful and there are interesting facts about the history of the hotel posted in many places. the location is ideal. one of the maids thanked us in writing for our tip and asked that God bless our family. we were very touched by this gesture. room service was very fast and the bell hops are very helpful. -

Everything!!! The hotel had a great location, the staff couldn't have been more helpful, great value for money (compared to the other hotels we used on our 5 week holiday in the US) and the room was well set-out, clean and very comfortable. I didn't what to leave.....this hotel is a 10 out of 10. Keep up the great work.... -

... wat mensen zeggen » valet greeted us on the street my wife and I felt we had the full attention of the efficient and friendly staff. The room was clean, nicely decorated and pretty much perfect. We were able to walk to dinner and home from the theater, and in the morning took a stroll by the White House. Awesome!

We were stollen at Georgetown and the staff of the hotel was very kind and helpful. They have called the police, who came to the hotel and at the end of the day, when we arrived to the room, we had a very kind note offering a bottle of wine and some fruit. We loved the beautiful, tasteful decor and peaceful ambiance of the public areas of this hotel. These areas included an excellent restaurant and bar and a lovely reading room. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. The spa was fabulous. Three of our party had a massage, and each of us was pleased with the experience. The room was quiet and nicely appointed, although not as luxurious as some other five star hotels we've stayed in.

It's about 3 blocks away from the Metro which made it very easy getting to all tourist attractions. It was great to have a kitchen with us. I didn't find a supermarket close by, by CVS next door had many choices for us to make sandwiches to bring with us to our tours.

Everything, the staff were always pleasant everywhere, check in, valet parking, breakfast attendants and room cleaning, always lovely.The location was perfect too. We had a room with a kitchenette and this was a nice roomy area to spread out in. We will definitely stay here again if we are lucky enough to get back to DC!

As a mature couple we found the Hotel to meet all of our needs.
The staff were friendly, the room was large with two double beds, comfortable and clean. We had room 410 right outside the lift but with one exception it wasn't noisy.

Flexiblity of the staff to accomodate our immediate needs. For instance,
while checking in we immediately needed access to our vehicle that had
already left to be parked. Despite a busy time for the hotel, they
retrieved our vehicle. Later, we needed to leave the hotel quickly due
to an emergency situation at home in Michigan, the staff checked us out,
and stored our bags enabling us to complete some necessary phone calls

Upon arriving at the hotel our room was instantly upgraded to an Executive Suite for no additional charge. We were very interested in the complimentary wine hour, but since our morning was hectic we did not attend it. The location is perfect and 5 blocks from the White House. Also it is a 10 minute cab ride to Georgetown. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to DC.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was spotless, spacious and comfortable. The bathroom is pretty small, put very OK! Whenever I return to DC this place will be my first choice.
