  Beautiful studio in a great location between Broadway and Fifth Avenue, with a nice view on Broadway and the Empire State building. Old building with character and security. The wood floor and the old brick walls, combined with the modern furniture, are fabulous! The two double beds are very comfortable. We loved it so much that we plan on coming back next time we visit - Superb location, apartment nicely designed with cosyness and good functionality. Good standard of the bathroom with floor and wall tiles. Airy room with brick walls and open kitchen. The host was really friendly and helpful, even driving in to NY late Friday evening when we locked us out, big thanks! We will book it again!

  The location was perfect, situated perfectly in midtown - it was close to get to uptown and downtown. Subway and bike rental was 3 minutes away. Apartment was also very clean, Air conditioner worked very well for hot nyc summer weather. Area is great for shopping, there is always people even late at night time, there was nice coffee shop Gregory's... wat mensen zeggen » and coffee was lovely. I really enjoyed my stay here. - Reading the previous comments I was slightly cautious regarding this booking, but this apartment turned out to be extremely clean, friendly staff (Ray) who you may always contact, excellent location for sightseeing the whole city and perfect beds (also for tall people) and clean shower / toilet. Would rent here again on my next trip, amazing value for money.

  Location is amazing, near Bryant Park, NY Public Library, Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Empire State, etc. Also, there're a lot of shopping spots, restaurants and a very convenient Deli next door (too expensive though). We stayed in the Studio Apartment, one flight of stairs, next to a nail salon. Not a big deal for us, the apartment was clean and quiet, pretty - This was a great apartment at an excellent location, only four blocks from Time Square. Nice and quit with a window against the back. A lot of equipment in the kitchen, it was possible to cook all the meals there. It was a nice deli right down on the corner. I will defintly recommend this apartment to anyone, and I will stay here next time I go to NY.

  When I book a hotel in midtown Manhatten for under $200, I am happy with clean sheets, clean towels and a clean bathroom. I got all of this at Hotel 31. It is no frills, so anyone who comes from out of town expecting a luxury hotel and then complaining about this is sorely misguided when it comes to Manhattan hotel prices. Staff - This is a lovely small hotel at a very convenient and perfectly safe location. It really is at the center - so I walked most of the sightseeing attractions nearby. The staff is very friendly, organized and always available. I stayed in a room with shared bathroom and the bathroom was always free and clean when I wanted to use it. My bed was big enough and very comfortable and there was a sink in the room so I could wash my face and teeth without needing to go to the bathroom. My room was cleane
