  Very good value for money for a family visiting Washington DC. Although you'd have to take a bus and then the metro to get to the centre, it's close enough to just take a taxi and it's about the same cost for a family of four. - Recomend this to some one else. cleanliness of the hotel is very good.   Staff was excellent about addressing concerns immediately . For example, one day we were locked in our room. We called front desk and they sent someone immediately to open the door. By the time we finished our breakfast, a new lock had been installed. The shuttle service was great. Once we were at a metro station, it was very easy to get to anywhe... wat mensen zeggen » re in DC. The receptionist, Whitney, was very friendly and went out of her way to order us food the night we checked in. We checked in after 10 pm and - The rooms were really nice, good size. The beds were very comfortable. I like lots of pillows too. The room was very clean. I like having a sink in both the bathroom and outside it. Made cleaning up a snap.The staff was very helpful and friendly. I felt they were willing to above the call of duty, when something was requested. Breakfast was good, lots of variety. That was nice. Glad there were laundry facilities available. That was very helpful.

  My room was very small, especially the bathroom, and the breakfast choices were meager. Still, it was comfortable and quiet and it's reasonably easy to get into DC. The shuttle to the Roslyn bus station runs early, but sadly not late enough in the evening. One good option is to take the subway home to the Clarendon station and then walk 15 minutes... wat mensen zeggen » to the hotel. When exiting at Clarendon, make a right out of the metro exit and go down the side street called Hlighland. There is a good sports bar - Swimming pool was well maintained, as were the grounds and facilities generally. The room was comfortable and the staff seemed quite nice and quite helpful. I appreciated the computer for use by guests located in the lobby. It really helped to be able to access on-line information for directions and site specific information on local attractions etc.

  I took the Metrobus 5A from Dulles International Airport and went off at Rosslyn Metro Center. From there, it was just 7-8 minutes walk to the hotel. From Rosslyn you can take the Orange or Blue subway-line to most of the tourist attractions. You can walk to the Iwo Jima monument and Arlington National Cemetary in 10 minutes (or take the blue subw... wat mensen zeggen » ay line from Rosslyn to Arlington Cemetary). I did not encounter any problems with the free in room WiFi during my 5 day-stay. More than 50 TV channe - Very friendly and helpful Staff from front of house to housekeeping. Very convenient for Iwo Jima Memorial Arlington National Cemetery and Metro. 15-20 minutes walk in either direction. Doesn't serve meals but, there is a restaurant next door or there is Ruby Tuesdays where we got a couple if excellent meals.. Can get coffee in reception from a machine if you can't be bothered to use the coffee making facilities in room. Room and bathroom clean. Would stay here again.

  The Staff were extremely helpful and helped us out at all times. - Perfect location - close to George Washington University campus and Foggy Bottom metro station, walking distance from many city attractions. The room was big enough and had all the basic things.

  85 year old plus Uncle Fred took us to dinner while we were staying at the Harrington. Fred stayed at the Harrington in 1947, and leaving the hotel bumped into Harry Truman. &Quot;Where are you stationed, Soldier?" asked Truman. Most importantly, it is in a great location, being very close to all the popular tourist destinations. There is a fun bar in the lobby, and the cafe provides a decent, well priced breakfast. I thoroughly recommend this one.
