  The hotel is still going through some renovations, but the room was excellent, comfy and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The location is only 1/2 a block from Powell and the cable car line. I would definately stay here again. - The proximity to shopping, restaurants, transportation and thefriendliness of the staff.

  I absolutely LOVED everything! It was beautiful from the moment I first saw it, before I even walked inside. It was so easy to get to from BART and in a perfect location. The entire staff was sincerely friendly, kind, helpful and seemed to only know how to say "Yes, of course we can". The room was outstanding, clean, light, comfortable with a beau... wat mensen zeggen » tiful view. I will recommend staying there to all of my friends and family and I look forward to staying there again in the future. - location was good but if you go two blocks over it gets a little rough. wine and snack hour wasn't bad for free but in SF who wants to drink just decent wine? staff was very nice and value for big city hotel in decent location on a BUSY wknd was excellent.

  For the price it had everything I expected and more. While small the spa area and exercise area were superior and the staff GREAT. I just wish it opened earlier than 9 am. The staff was very good as was the business center ( small but adequate). I would stay t here again and would recommend it to others. The room was comfortable, the decor was interesting and bonuses for me were free internet and plenty of electrical outlets. It was in a perfect location for conference at a Union Square hotel as well as shopping and entertainment. I'd definitely stay there again. Loved it.

  The location was perfect, close to union square and downtown SF. The room was clean and comfortable. Elevator was well maintained. Had a kiosk where you can check in online and print your boarding pass. Had a tour desk to arrange your tour in SF. Overall was a pleasant stay. - I was overcharged and it took a while for the receptionist to believe ... wat mensen zeggen » me (even though I had my original booking (with letsbookhotel.com printed out) and then work out what to do. I feel that I was overcharged on purpose, hoping that I wouldn't notice.

Transportation is very convinient, including Airport transfer - just 10 min from BART (local Subway) Powell station, directly connecting location with SFO (35 min to Terminal 3). The concierge hand wrote a welcome card and included a map with highlighted areas we must see WITH a detailed (again handwritten) explanation of each place corresponding to color print outs of the sites.   close to union square - The staff was excellent, very friendly, and the parking was affordable. Clean room with a minibar. A great choice for a cheap hotel in San Francisco if you're not expecting any luxury amenities...just a good, clean, basic hotel room! Decent neighborhood too :)
