This is an historic hotel and maintains that sense of service and elegance. Perfect location on the lake & Michigan Avenue. Live music in the lounge & in the more fomal space off the lobby. Service was excellent! It's a little pricier than we usually like to pay but was perfect to celebrate a birthday.

goed - As soon as we settled in our room we received a call to see if we needed anything. People gave service a 6 out of 10 which is rediculous. 10/10 for sure. The best hotel in chicago. - Did not get to spend much time in the hotel, but the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very lovely, although the lighting could have been brighter.

Good things about the room: clean, great shower apart from the bath, the beds, no noise. Good things about the hotel: at night great lighteffects, good bar, nice personnel, luxury looks.
Good things about neighbourhood of the hotel: lots of restaurants(also for breakfast) and bars around, in the middle of the most important shopping area, lots of interesting things to see and to do (for exemple boattour, musea) on a walking distance.

Beautiful older Hotel renovated in the last few years, We were there for
our Anniversary and got a really nice room with a great view of the lake
on the 26th floor. Glad we got a good deal on letsbookhotel.com for $229… The
normal rate for the room was $519… ( For me it was definitely a $200
room but not a $500 room ) Great location one block off

Excellent location next to a great park and within 5 mins walk of Lake Michigan. Transport into city super easy from right outside the hotel or you can walk into the city within half hour.
Design of the hotel funky & individual - loved the staff 'uniforms' with the bow ties etc.

Great hotel in an awesome location. Excellent customer service from the staff. Roof top bar/restaurant has amazing views. The hotel has a very cool retro feel and the decor is great. The restaurant was good - pricey, but you can grab a bite at the bar. The bartendar provided excellent service.

I loved that it is an nice,affordable, hotel very close to the Magnificent Mile. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I liked the kitchen in room: full fridge, stove, microwave, and dishes. The beds have very firm matresses.... which I like. We also had a nice view of the lake from our room. I really enjoyed staying there. It is in a nice clean area of Chicago.
