  This hotel is fabulous. We unfortunately only got to stay here one night, but the staff was more than accomodating to us and all of our needs. It's classy, clean, well worth the money, and was a very large room with the one of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. HIGHLY recommend this hotel. - The fact that the hotel was so small made it so you saw the same front of house staff everyday. It made everything feel very familiar and comfortable. The concierge was a great help in choosing a show and getting us great seats at the very last minute. The front desk was accommodating when we asked to change rooms as well. The room, although small, felt very comfortable and not too crowded.

This hotel is more like a private members club than a hotel, its chic, suave and sophisticated but by no means 'showey' like most high-end expensive hotels.   The room was clean and comfortable although the outlook from the window was onto an unspectacular building! However the room was quiet and relatively peaceful after the noise of New York city! The hotel was in a great location for subway, jazz venues, small restaurants and eclectic shops. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. A calm and attractive place to stay and rest after a hot New York/ Manhattan day. Nice bar and a very good restaurant in house. Always fresh water and some nice snacks every night in the room. Stayed 8 nights and will gladly come back. A summer stay when the out door terrrace is open.

The service was great, staff were friendly; there were some people who truly stood out Gabriella at the front desk and her manager (whos name I do not recall) who personally ran up to our room to move the champagne and chocolates (which they very kindly gave us as an anniversary present) to our new upgraded r... wat mensen zeggen » oom, which we loved. We had requested a late check out, as we were in NYC celebrating a milestone birthday. Not only were we granted the late check out, but just minutes after checking into our room, the hotel attache was at our door, delivering scrumption cupcakes with a chocolate "Happy Birthday" plaque. Such a lovely touch, it was very much appreciated and immediately kicked off the weekend in birthday celebration mode.

The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful, and we did not feel out of place with our 4 boys aged 11-20. It was expensive, but then everything in New York is expensive! How is that five star hotels still can't understand to threat guest as individuals? When you have answered the same standard questions if everything is great a hundreds times from every staff in just a four day short visit, it becomes less funny. Different individuals are intresting, perfect robotized hotels are not.
