Rode to Harvard another. Rented a car for 2 days.   The hotel made up for a mistake letsbookhotel.com made. They accommodated my reservation even though letsbookhotel.com had never sent it to the hotel. Breakfast- great value for the $$. I have eaten all around Boston and it was surprising good and didn't break the bank. It is obvious Wyndham is upgrading this hotel, I think they are going in the ... wat mensen zeggen » right direction. I would stay there again as its location is incredible for waking to all attractions in downtown Boston - The location is wonderful. You're within walking distance to almost everything of interest in the city. There is a Whole Foods next door as well if you want to get something life fresh fruit. The rooms are spacious and clean -- and we got one with a wonderful view of the Charles River. I'm not sure if it was worth all the money we paid for it, but it was a weekend in a centrally-located hotel in Boston. I guess the price made sense.

  What was supposed to be a romantic weekend with the love of my life was rudely interrupted by Snowstorm "Nemo", so I ended up at this wonderful Inn all alone for 3 nights. Still, it's a lovely historic site that was very comfortable and in a superb location. PS - the Sevens Pub right across the street is a great place to hangout in a snowstorm. - Friendly staff, lovely big room, breakfast in the room, treats, elevator, huge bed. It seemed a pretty good bargain. Plenty of drawers and hangers. Oh, and the location is absolutely perfect - close to the T, close to the Common, readily accessible (we did not drive).
