  The friendliness and accomodating staff, the complimentary nacho night, the kids loved it! And the complimentary breakfast. I had my four young granddaughters with me and if saved me alot of money not to have to take them into restaurants and waste food. And the pool/gym side by side! - The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Portsmouth. You can walk to most downtown restaurants and shopping. It is new and very clean. i stayed in a suite and was very surprised to find it has a kitchen complete with full refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and cooktop. It was perfect for hosting a group of friends for cocktails and appetizers.

  Great hotel in the middle of town. If you are looking to park your car for your stay and walk around a wonderful town, this is it. We had a great time. Many things to keep you busy and the great selection of the many wonderful restaurants to dine. Very safe area for evening walks and dog friendly. - It's location is great!   This hotel was in walking distance to many shops and dining places. The hotel was very elegant and the staff was friendly. The king bed was so comfortable and room was very nice. - Location is ideal. Walkable to everything. Our (club) room was large, clean, & very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

  There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about The Anchorage Inn and Suites.From comfortable and impeccably clean rooms to the beautiful indoor pool and sauna to the amazing , friendly staff and the free continental breakfast ,I couldn't have been more pleased. I would like to express my sincerest thanks to the night desk manager Tom. 'Roundabout' Swimming pool not used but looked nice. Excellent for what we wanted - a comfortable inexpensive base to explore Portsmouth and surrounding area Would certainly go back there .

  The staff was very friendly and they were very talkative. They were more than willing to print off directions to any place we wanted to go. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. Parking was free and ample spaces. - The hotel offered 2 queens and a sofa bed and the bedroom was separate from the sitting area.
