  The staff was very friendly. Room was a little dated but charming & very clean, comfortable. Complimentary continental breakfast had a European flavor. Location was perfectly centrally located for exploring the National Park and other attractions. Rooms sit back from the highway so nights are quiet. - The location, the price ($89/night) ... wat mensen zeggen » and the atmosphere. It helped that we liked the on-site restaurant sufficiently to use it all three nights of our stay.

  This motel was quite a surprise. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. The lady at the desk(didn't get her name) was great. A pleasure to deal with someone so nice. The lady that took care of the breakfast room was also great. I would recommend this motel to anyone traveling thru the mid west. Would stay there again if we ever com... wat mensen zeggen » e back. This was one of the best places we stay at on our trip of 2 weeks.Some we paid twice as much and those should have been boarded up,,,really - The hotel was 1 block away from downtown. Shopping and restaurants were very close. There were many day excursions to see - Crazy Horse memorial, Crystal Caves, Mount Rushmore and the Nature Drive that will thrill families. The staff were excellent!
