  The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty. Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more relaxing. The hotel has it's on oceanfront so it's easy to walk on the water and pick up stones and see crabs any time. Great food, too. - Location, Location, Location View is lovely!   Hotel granted my request for a refrigerator. Room was clean and more spacious than I expected and the beds were comfortable. It was great being in walking distance to town with large choice of restaurants and shops. Also close to the entrance to Acadia Park. - Could book direct for a better rate.   We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and ready to help. As the person who picked this hotel, I was glad that everyone in our party was happy - Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

Hotel has great room for continental breakfast, clean and staffed making sure everything is stocked and working. Maid staff and front desk very friendly. Would definitely go back. - I was there for the mdi marathon. They moved up the breakfast so that they marathoners could still eat it. I thought that took some foresight and was very considerate. The location was excellent. I also liked the sheet that was handed out that told you favorite places in town. It was honestly a very good experience!

  First, the beds were great; comfortable, plush, lottsa pillows, quilt, and the room was pretty quiet (except for occasional footfalls upstairs, but, alas...). Then, workout room, pool, hot tub we used each day - well done! Everything was so clean, too. Business center was always available for us, and...that breakfast room!! Healthy AND hearty... wat mensen zeggen » !! The appointments were lovely and the convenience to all of the Main St. stuff was great - We were very pleased with the hotel. The staff was exceptional. Friendly, attentive and fun. The continental breakfast was fabulous. The room was spacious and well equiped, with a lovely comfortable bed. There were many wonderful restaurants to which we could easily walk.. All and all a wonderful experience and we will return.

  Room very comfortable and large enough for a week's stay. Excellent bathroom, loved the long counter space, and nice closet. Nice breakfast offering every morning, saved time and money, but got a bit tedious, with the same thing each morning, but about as big a variety as possible for the circumstances. Loved the free bus stopping at the motel to go to town, that was a great plus! A warning - The Bar Harbor Motel provided everything we needed for our stay in Acadia National Park. It was close to the village of Bar Harbor but out of the hectic and crowded scene there. We could get into the park without having to go through downtown. There was a light breakfast fine for our needs, good TV, a very nice restaurant and brew pub right next door, with prime steak specials each night as well as good local brews on tap and a full bar (the Jack Russell Steakhouse).   The breakfast was terrific. Many items to choose from including omlettes, sausage, waffles, cereals, fruit, yogurt and Danish. There was plenty of everything and the breakfast staff were very nice and friendly. The front desk was very friendly and informative. I had a problem with my baggage getting delayed and the staff on each shift jumped right in to help us track it and kept us informed while we went out. Tina even volunteered to call the airline!   The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. All in all a great stay. we will definitely return. - I loved this hotel it made my stay that much better It had a very warm feeling I loved the fireplace in the lobby The pools and the hot tub area Where it was on the harbor just perfect A lot nicer than I thought it would be very well maintained Although people were working on the hotel for example the maids were never in your way and very quiet Very unusual which I liked - The staff was warm and friendly. The harbor was very close . Shopping was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good, with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I learned great tips.
