  The staff was awesome at every level. The landscaping was so, so pretty. Having the pool and hot tub right on the water made it even more relaxing. The hotel has it's on oceanfront so it's easy to walk on the water and pick up stones and see crabs any time. Great food, too. - Location, Location, Location View is lovely!   We were a party of 2 couples with 2 rooms. When we checked in, we were told that they ran out of rooms with double queen beds, so both rooms were upgraded to suites at no extra charge. We certainly got off to a good start! Everyone at the hotel was always courteous and friendly and ready to help. The restaurant in the hotel is quite nice with good... wat mensen zeggen » food at reasonable prices. The view from our rooms was stunning. As the person who picked this hotel, I was glad that everyone in our party was happy - Stayed at the Atlantic Oceanside's downtown apartment in Bar Harbor, The Song of the Sea. It was perfect! Centrally located downtown with a beautiful view of the harbor and Bar Island, it was perfect for our family of 5. 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen and living area was great and the washer and dryer was a added bonus. Decorated nicely, very clean and the parking spot two blocks away was great. Will only stay there on our next visit to the wonderful Bar Harbor/Acadia area!

  The staff were superb. The location on the Bar Harbor coast was unbeatable. The buildings and grounds are exceptionally well maintained. My wife and I celebrated our 30th anniversary and spent six nights at Bar Harbor Inn, and my wife has since told me that my selection of hotels was perfect. The lobster pie was incredible! - Great location, very clean, nice room, easy to park next to the room, great continental breakfast, great view of the ocean. It was a short walk to town. For picking it sight unseen (except for pictures on the Internet) we were very pleased with choosing the Bar Harbor Inn and delighted with the overall experience.

  Our rooms were very large with great toiletry amenities. The hotel is in a great location, just 5 minutes ride to Acadia Visitor Center and to the restaurants, shopping and pier. The big indoor pool with the hot tub was a great addition to relax after a long day of hiking. There is also an outdoor pool, but we didn't use it. Tasty cookies were served at the lobby in the afternoons, they were great addition. - The staff at the hotel were great. The view out of the window in our room or in the great room were worth the price of the stay. The evenings had a pianist with fingers that danced across the keys stimulating memories of yesterday. Both of the pools were spectacular with the indoor pool area reminiscent of scenes from Cocoon. The view from the Looking Glass has to be the best view in the area.

  First, the beds were great; comfortable, plush, lottsa pillows, quilt, and the room was pretty quiet (except for occasional footfalls upstairs, but, alas...). Then, workout room, pool, hot tub we used each day - well done! Everything was so clean, too. Business center was always available for us, and...that breakfast room!! Friendly, attentive and fun. The continental breakfast was fabulous. The room was spacious and well equiped, with a lovely comfortable bed. There were many wonderful restaurants to which we could easily walk.. All and all a wonderful experience and we will return.

  Our room was large, beautifully furnished, and very comfortable. Lovely bathroom also. We enjoyed having our own table at breakfast and not having to make small talk with strangers early in the morning. The cocktail hour provided an opportunity to meet others if one so desired.   We loved our stay at Acadia. The staff was very friendly. A shuttle arrived every 30 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes in the evening to take us to Bar Harbor for free. From there we could take additional shuttles to Acadia Park and other destinations. The breakfast was a very good variety. There was a small trail b - Friendly welcome at reception, and pleasant surprise at our pretty, spacious room. The afternoon snacks put out for quests is a lovely idea and the breakfasts were very comprehensive and would suit everyone. We were also delighted to catch sight of the deer on the back lawn area one evening - a real treat. It was an easy location to get to, plenty of parking, and an short trip into the town area. We were so pleased we had decided to visit this area and the National Park was just lovely - also

  It was removed from Bar Harbor central yet 5 minutes away. Quiet with awesome views. Hiedi was informative, pleasant and willing to assist. - The maid created new towel art for our bed each day. Fun to come back and see what she hsd created. View from our balcony was gorgeous.

  The staff was very professional and courteous. We were greeted with an upgrade to a 1 bedroom suite with water views that was very spacious. The location was great-walk out your door to the ocean and to town for shopping and meals. The pools were beautiful with great poolside meal and drink service. The harbor was very close . Shopping was close. Restaurants were close. The hotel restaurant was very good, with good service. The lobby was warm and inviting and always had a fire in the fireplace. Judy the grounds-keeper did a super job on the flowers and plants....beautiful! She took time to talk gardening with me and I learned great tips.
