  marina del rey is perfectly located. my room had a beautiful view on to the harbour. the all staff were lovely and helpful. this hotel is a real gem. ok so it needs a refurb, and there is a bit of noise from the other floors but this is more than made up for with the plus points of which there are many. room service was excellent, the cafe staff w... wat mensen zeggen » ere also really helpful and nice. all the services you would expect from a 4 or 5 star hotel but a fraction of the price. the hotel is about to refur - We wanted a hotel close to the Getty Museums and Santa Monica. We were nervous about the people density of L.A. and, being walkers, had heard poor reports of the lack of pedestrian-friendly paths and even sidewalks. The hotel location was perfect. It was not only literally surrounded by boats but was right by the coast bike path and close to a number of interesting walks around the largest man-made marina in the world.   most everything, location near airport and I405 and city, but no city hassles and lots of good restaurants within a block or two. Low traffic, lively at night. Architecture and history of building and scale and pace of district (Culver City) compared with LA in general. Nice understated luxury of rooms, which are interesting odd shapes, each one... wat mensen zeggen » different. We always stay here when in LA because of above and because of reasonable rates. - The staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful and hospitable, the room was very comfortable and I could have stayed in the shower all day it was so good. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to other travellers. I was a little concerned about it's location but it is right in the middle of Culver City which had a superb selection of restaurants and bars to chose from. It is also only a short trip from LAX.

  I liked the quaint decor and the small, intimate design of the hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. And the patio area was just so relaxing and visually pleasing. The smallness of the rooms did not bother us since they were so cute. Also, if you don't mind walking a little bit, you are situated near the activities on Sunset Blvd., t... wat mensen zeggen » he restaurants and shops on Santa Monica Blvd., and the upscale home design and fashion shops on Melrose Ave. The area looks totally safe and has man - The Beverly Terrace was a pleasant surprise. Its a quaint, charming boutique hotel with a European or Spanish ambiance feel. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and friendly. The interior terrace is a wonderful place to have breakfast in the morning or chill out there at the end of your day. The rooms are small but cozy with the feel of staying at a friends house as opposed to a hotel. I I would recommend this hotel to all of my friends.
