  Hazel & Mike were great hosts. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I was trading at the Abergavenny Food Festival and Hazel gave me a flask of tea as she knew how busy we'd be which was a lovely gesture. She also allowed me to store some things in her fridge! Bedroom was cleaned daily. The location is fab - max 10m walk into town centre.... wat mensen zeggen » - Very friendly hosts and provided us with an evening meal without booking ahead, with last minute changes. Helped with bags and drying us out as it was really pouring.

  What a briiliant place! The staff were great, the room was lovely, we stayed in one of the outside rooms - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had arranged to eat at the Hardwick (a birthday treat for me - going to Stephen Terrys restaurant), the hotel arranged a taxi for us, with no fuss. We will come back and stay f... wat mensen zeggen » or a longer period, this way we can sample the it - We had the hotels largest room which was almost like being in a suite.Very large comfy bed,shower and bath excellent with loads of hot water.Very good parking facilities.We ate in the pub's restaurant all 3 nights we stayed,all meals we had were very good quality and reasonably priced.Would definitely recommend and use again if in the area.

  Fabulous location! The staff were friendly and attentive, they also responded very well to problems when we checked in, so that said problems were overcome without our stay being spoiled.   Wij zochten een hotel als overnachting tijdens een doorreis en stelden weinig eisen. Het hotel is prima bevallen. Zelfs het restaurant (pub) kwam ons heel goed van pas. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Paul the Bar Supervisor particularly going the extra yard on more than one occasion. This was our second stay as my partner's Mother suffered a serious illness recently and we are sure that over the coming weeks, during her (hopeful) full recovery, we will look to stay many more times. - rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful. Adjacent pub very good food value for money.

  Pretty much everything! The people were friendly and very welcoming. We arrived at 23:30hrs with 2 bicycles and they gave us the key to a secure room where we could keep them. The room was very comfortable and spacious, big shower, very clean and newly refurbished probably (?), plus the full English breakfast was indeed a FULL English breakfast... wat mensen zeggen » . Full marks all round! - Top hotel comfort at a budget price. Small hotel spread over adjacent houses, but this was not a problem. Extreamly clean, very comfortable, everything worked. Best hotel shower I've ever had; fast flow, water hot from start. Full English breakfast excellent. One night with breakfast for £34.99...you can't go wrong!
