  What a briiliant place! The staff were great, the room was lovely, we stayed in one of the outside rooms - tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had arranged to eat at the Hardwick (a birthday treat for me - going to Stephen Terrys restaurant), the hotel arranged a taxi for us, with no fuss. We will come back and stay f... wat mensen zeggen » or a longer period, this way we can sample the it - We had the hotels largest room which was almost like being in a suite.Very large comfy bed,shower and bath excellent with loads of hot water.Very good parking facilities.We ate in the pub's restaurant all 3 nights we stayed,all meals we had were very good quality and reasonably priced.Would definitely recommend and use again if in the area.

  Wij zochten een hotel als overnachting tijdens een doorreis en stelden weinig eisen. Het hotel is prima bevallen. Zelfs het restaurant (pub) kwam ons heel goed van pas. - The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, Paul the Bar Supervisor particularly going the extra yard on more than one occasion. The huge beds are also fantastic and hugely com... wat mensen zeggen » fortable. This was our second stay as my partner's Mother suffered a serious illness recently and we are sure that over the coming weeks, during her (hopeful) full recovery, we will look to stay many more times. - rooms very comfortable, staff very helpful. Adjacent pub very good food value for money.
