Didn't eat here so cannotcomment about food but menu and bar looked good. - Staff were welcoming, helpful and the food was fantastic and above all the bed was really comfortable. changed and I had to cancel my second night there, the staff were most
considerate and helpful. They cleared my room (I had to stay in hospital
overnight), kept my things safe until I could collect them, and gave

I found the staff to be very friendly without being fussy. The rooms are excellent and I can say this with experience as I have stayed on numerous occasions. The food is excellent. The hotel is located just outside Abergavenny good views of the countryside. I will be back ( If you are not full)

The guesthouse although old added to the ambience of the building. The proprietor could not have been more friendly, courteous and helpful he was a lovely man. The rooms were clean and all you needed for your stay. The breakfast perfect again excellent value and you couldnt have got better in a first class hotel. Will stay there again should I have to stay in Newport.
