Very friendly owners, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. Facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean. As a veggie it is a luxury to have soya milk provided in the room and options for breakfast (which was excellent, as was the full English) We only stayed one night so didn't have time to use the spa facilities but would definately return for a longer stay and make use then.

Warm and friendly welcome just like welcome visitors. We had a beautiful room in a wonderful thatched roofed home which also had really nice outdoor seating areas. The town and surrounds were wonderful with beautiful walk

An attractive inn in a beautiful village. The room was large and very comfortable. Although the restaurant and pub are shut on Mondays, we received a lovely welcome and, had we needed it, could have had a meal cooked for us. Breakfast was delicious and I would definitely visit again, making sure that I could also eat in the restaurant.

We liked the olde worlde feel to the hotel but without the feeling of dilapidation that you often find in older hotel buildings. We had comfortable brass and iron beds (unusual for a hotel) which I really enjoyed. The food was good, staff friendly and helpful and the location on the edge of Blandford was excellent.

Excellant accomadation. The room we stayed in had a superking size bed and a zed bed for a young child. The room was spacious and well decorated with ample tea and coffee making facilities.
