  The staff were extremely friendly and courteous. In fact, the manager made a point of welcoming us as we enjoyed a pre-dinner drink in the bar which was very thoughtful. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel situated in a beautiful setting. We were greeted by a receptionist who immediately arranged for someone to take our bags up to our rooms. Both rooms were very clean, comfortable and had beautiful views over the Chatsworth Estate. The evening meal in the Garden Room was excellent.

  My stay albeit just overnight was a very pleasurable experience. The service was second to none. Coffee was prepared on my arrival with a selection of cakes at no additional cost. The dinner was excellent and the staff very attentive.   The owner of the apartment building greeted us on arrival and showed us our apartment for our 1 week stay. The apartment was well furnished with modern appliances. The garage was inside the building and secure. The kitchen had a small hamper of useful food and drink (coffee, Tea and serials). The apartment was close to the center of the town of De... wat mensen zeggen » rby with restaurants, pubs and shopping within 5 minutes walking distance. All in all it exceeded our expectations, we have no hesitation in recommend - We (family of husband, wife and two young kids) really enjoyed our stay at Luxe Self Catering Apartments. All the amenities were close by (some within walking distance and some a few minutes drive away). It was an ideal location and a great base for Alton Towers. We will most certainly visit them again and certainly recommend them to all our friends and family. The staff went above and beyond their duty to make sure our stay was comfortable.

  John and Gilly are fantastic hosts and make you feel really welcome. The cottage is beautiful as is the location and is exactly the sort of place my fiance and I love. We have stayed in many a boutique before now and I can tell you with great confidence, that River Cottage comes extremely high on the list, only to be beaten by Kegworth House on va... wat mensen zeggen » lue for money. Having said that the breakfast at River Cottage would take some beating so we'll call it a draw. Wonderful stay and will definitely be - Very friendly & hospitable cover staff whilst owners were away. Location perfect for surrounding area. House & garden fantastic. Good parking. Very clean, well appointed rooms. Fabulous breakfast. All the little details well thought out. Best B&B I've ever stayed at.
