  Comfortable room, enormous bed, our first time use of a WetRoom -- a delight. Breakfast choices were admirable. Janet and John are welcoming and very friendly. Janet helped our visit enormously with pre-paid, reduced cost tickets to the local attractions of Hardwick and Chatsworth Houses -- a must pair of house visits. The accommodations were excellent and the hosts were very attentive and provided useful local advise on dining and wining. They also accommodated my special request for an early breakfast as I needed to leave before breakfast time. Exceeded my expectations and would go back.

  Beautiful art deco building. Room was very good. Everything you needed including toiletries & biscuits!!! Staff helpful & friendly. Breakfast was fantastic. Hotel called me a couple of days before we arrived to tell me the retaurant would not be open the night of our stay due to a function. They offered to email me addresses of local resta... wat mensen zeggen » urants. Very nice thought. - I was greeted by 2 lovely friendly receptionists as I arrived 2 hours earlier than my husband. No question was too much trouble to answer, they even helped with our choice of dinner in town. Again, helpful staff at breakfast. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas (nothing tacky, just smart). I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

  We loved everything. The building was beautiful, the room was everything we could have asked for, the bathroom was fabulous with the deepest bath we've ever seen. The owners were extremely nice, and very friendly. Breakfast was tasty and hot, and I loved the plum and ginger jam that was provided for my toast. Excellent. - We stayed here two weeks ago and found all aspects excellent. My partner asked for a specific bottle of champagne and some birthday balloons for a surprise treat. They were waiting for us when we arrived with the champagne on ice. It was perfect and really made the holiday! The room was lovely and the bathroom was a real treat with a roll top bath. Would recommend to friends and family!

The room was clean, modern and the bed very comfy. There was free bottled water and ironing board & iron. Tea, coffee & biscuits in room. VFM.
