  Everything about this hotel was just perfect. We were lucky enough to book a double room, as the hotel was fully booked. No wonder! When we arrived, the very polite staff answered our questions before we even asked them! They even provided us a list of the tapas we have to try, and also the recommended restaurants. The rooms were each beautifully and individually decorated with taste, a mini fridge, some with balconies, situated in the old and fun part of San Sebastián.   This place was a highlight. On the main square of Laguardia and deceptively large. Our superior room on the 2nd floor was big, clean with a huge comfortable bed, super shower and changing room. On arrival we were given vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine and pintxo in their cellar bar. A nice touch. The rooms and breakfast are pricey - This is our kind of hotel - small but beautifully appointed, very comfortable rooms, excellent food, interesting village and very friendly, helpful staff. The included breakfast was superb and the coffee excellent. We handed our evening wine selection to the most knowledgeable expert, Jean-Marie, who never let us down.   Fantastic hotel and owners! The beautiful small hotel is laying between two amazing natural parks (better to have a car). The hotel is perfect for people who like to hike and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The view from the large and luxurious rooms is spectacular! Randa and Kepa (the owners) are wonderful people and they will do anything to make ... wat mensen zeggen » you feel at home. They also know a lot of the region, the history, the highlights and where to go. You can have a good breakfast and a delicious diner - This is my second time at the hotel and the owners were so lovely! I am vegetarian and they took care to prepare me special delicous vegetarian meals everyday! Kepa also showed me the vegetable patch this time. We were also invited to watch as he trimmed the sheep's coats!! The couple are really warm and welcoming. As always, the place is beautiful, a real gem :) Also renovations have been done so its bigger and nicer.

It is perfectly situated with all the pintxos (Pinchos) bars on your door step, and it's a peeble's throw from the beaches and close to nearly everything. If you are looking for the vibe and bustle of the nearly all day, late night and early morning bars - this is the place for you. - What an amazing place to stay when visiting San Sebastián! The apartment had everything we needed and more. The apartment was perfectly located in the old town with numerous bars/restaurants on your doorstep ( literally). Nerea was extremely helpful with local info re buses/airport transfers. We will DEFINATELY be staying at Apartamentos Bretxa in the near future!!
