  From the moment we arrived Bixen, the owner, made us feel very welcome. The room was large, clean and the bed do comfortable. The views are fabulous, but you need to go to appreciate how pretty it is and quiet.   This was a very pleasant pension. We had a double and a single room for our daughter. The rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. It was quite well located with only a ten minute walk to the old town where we spent a lot of time. The coffee which is free was lovely. It is also couple of minute to the beach. It is very clean and almost new since the owner just repaint the pension.   Pensión Iturriza is an absolute little gem. For me this was a last minute booking, I had intended on staying at another place where my friends were staying, but that didn't work out so booked into PI instead - and I'm so glad I did! The rooms are just lovely. They are superbly clean, comfortable and are - We liked almost everything about our stay. Ibon, the owner, was extremely helpful - giving us information about restaurants, tourist sites, etc. We stayed in two rooms - a double on the second floor (the grandparents) and the apartment on the sixth floor (family with 2 small children). Ibon is renovating the building so there was no elevator but this will be finished in a few weeks. And, as active people, this did not bother us at all. The rooms were clean and large, the view from the apartment

  Really beautiful and comfortable palace with the surrounding countryside providing the perfect setting. Only 30mins drive to San Sebastián. 45 mins to Bilboa. Everything was just great. Not hard to find as we put the town location into the Gps and there were signs from the town intersection to the hotel. Staff were very professional, friendly and helpful. Restaurant is outstanding. The chef - a charming guy - likes to meet his guests and talk about his dishes and the way he prepares them.   Fantastic hotel and owners! The beautiful small hotel is laying between two amazing natural parks (better to have a car). The hotel is perfect for people who like to hike and enjoy the quiet surroundings. The view from the large and luxurious rooms is spectacular! Randa and Kepa (the owners) are wonderful people and they will do anything to make ... wat mensen zeggen » you feel at home. They also know a lot of the region, the history, the highlights and where to go. You can have a good breakfast and a delicious diner - This is my second time at the hotel and the owners were so lovely! I am vegetarian and they took care to prepare me special delicous vegetarian meals everyday! Kepa also showed me the vegetable patch this time. We were also invited to watch as he trimmed the sheep's coats!! The couple are really warm and welcoming. As always, the place is beautiful, a real gem :) Also renovations have been done so its bigger and nicer.

  This place was a highlight. On the main square of Laguardia and deceptively large. Our superior room on the 2nd floor was big, clean with a huge comfortable bed, super shower and changing room. On arrival we were given vouchers for a complimentary glass of wine and pintxo in their cellar bar. A nice touch. The included breakfast was superb and the coffee excellent. We handed our evening wine selection to the most knowledgeable expert, Jean-Marie, who never let us down. All the staff were wonderful and even those who said they 'did not speak English' did so very well. The extended research we did to locate our hotel in La Rioja really paid off w

  Though bit pricy its really an amazing spot and hotel. Awesome building, great spacious rooms, good staff. Gourmet restaurant was closed during our stay but the bistro was excellent too. Beautiful terrace to watch the sunset, have to visit the winery too and go for a walk/ cycle around the vineyards. My husband is a retired architect and staying here was a remembering of himself, enlivening. We only wish we had known how wonderful the experience would be and we would have stayed longer.

  Nice, bright and clean room on the 5th floor, loved the little balcony facing the street. Quiet area, but still close to everything. Joakina herself was very nice and welcoming, and so was her son. Some people have complained about her being around all time, but we only saw her on arrival and the day we left.
