Just opposite of the Estacio de Franca train station wich you get train to Airport (need to transfer ) Very closer to Barcelona zoo(1 minute), Parc de Ciutadella(1 minute), La Rambla (5... wat mensen zeggen » minutes) and Barcelona beach (5 minutes) by walking. - Location was very good for visiting the Old Gothic neighborhood, La Rambla, and Barcelonetta, and only a 5 minute walk to Metro stop to access farther sights. The room was small (typical for Spain), but with a high ceiling it didn't feel too claustrophobic. Good value with all the basics, plus a few extra amenities, like balcony and hair dryer. A/c worked well, which was crucial in mid-July.

The hotel is about a block away from a beautiful archway and walkway, not covered on the bus tours.   Pensio 2000 was a real find. Help yourself tea/coffee/cakes and water, all gratis. Even had lovely white dressing gowns provided. An international crossroad location with great mix of people too! No parking or lift but worth the effort. Great value for money but shame it rained! - Location of the hotel is excellent. Close to a metro station and in the middle of Las Ramblas and El Borne. But some of the stuff like towels and sheets are really too old.

The staff were really friendly and helpful,our double room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, with en suite including wall hair dryer and the option to have towels changed daily or to re-use. Breakfast was fine but the coffee was machine coffee, however the dining area leads on to the public restaurant/c - The location was wonderful. Had very close access to everything we wanted to do and see. You could have an inexpensive quick meal or sit down for a more elegant dining experience and all within a two minute walk. The staff was wonderfully helpful and competent. Santiago was a tremendous help to me when I was have some trouble with my airline. Everything is easily within walking distance. All in all it was a great location. We did have a room that did not face the street so we slept comfortably
