  Ca La Maria was one of the best places I have ever stayed at. This is a brand new B&B that is designed with elegant, modern art throughout. It's at a great location, very central and in walking distance to many of the city's sites.The B&B is run by Maria who is an excellent hostess.   We stayed in the suite which was simply gorgeous. The balcony, shaped tub, remote controlled curtains, reflective glass, see-through glass, mirrors, and lighting, all contributed to an intimate setting. An addition to the mini-bar was an "intimacy kit." On a practical note, the sink was very large with a tap drain which made washing clothes quite ... wat mensen zeggen » easy. The wardrobe had plenty of space and the music from the tv system was free. The hotel's library, livingroom, artwork, outdoor space with sunhats - We enjoyed the juxtaposition of the historic building and painted ceilings against the modern decor. The staff was very helpful in giving us restaurant recommendations and directions to the sites. The breakfasts were delicious and diverse (instead of the bread and coffee most B&Bs serve). It was extremely clean and very intimate given there are only 7 rooms. We ate breakfast on the private patio every morning where we enjoyed architecture hidden from passersby on the street. We really felt better then home, the place has got a fantastic decor (just renovsted) and they had lot of attention to every detail and to our needs.
