  Perfect location for Disneyland. You can book bus from the hotel and it takes 30 mins. Also transport link is within walking distance if you wanna go to central Tokyo although it takes a while. There are Aqua City and Decks nearby so shopping is not a problem and plenty of restaurants if you don't wanna travel too far out. I'll stay at this hotel again. - Spacious rooms, free router (wifi) in the room upon request. The hotel exudes luxury but the rates are not as high as the Ritz Carlton's. View from the restaurant at the 30th flr is amazing - we even saw Mt. Fuji! Also, it is accessible to shopping malls (free shuttle bus) and the Daiba station is connected to it.

  Superb and convenient location with train station just next to hotel. Shopping malls and eateries are everywhere around. Room was very spacious and clean. Called house-keeping for child slippers for my daughters and were delivered within 10 minutes. The house-keeping staff took initiative and delivered not only slippers but also additional towels ... wat mensen zeggen » and toothbrushes. Am very glad that we are going to stay there when we return from Hokkaido later this month. :) - The convenient location to train and subway lines. Also the many restaurants within the complex. Comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel.

  What i liked most about Hyatt Regency is the location; excellent location, very close to Shinjuku station. And if you are not in the mood for the 5 minute walk to the station, there is the complimentary shuttle bus which leaves from the hotel every 20 minutes to Shinjuku station and Odakyu dept store. Their staff is great, very helpful, efficient ... wat mensen zeggen » and have good command of English. Since we have special dietary needs (halal food) the staff at the caffee were very understanding and helful and warn - Overall nice hotel. But a few points stood out. The Japanese staff were unfailingly polite and obliging. But my check-in was marred by a short Caucasian male concierge staff who cut the queue with another customer without apology. While the local staff were polite they did not hand over enough information such that I repeated myself three times about my Michel Troisgros booking. Access to pool and gym should not be restricted to Passport members but all guests!

  Nice big comfortable newly renovated rooms. Service staffs spoke English and were very helpful. 10 mins walk to JR Shinjuku station through the covered walkway, which had convenience stores, cafés and shops around. With airport shuttle, made it very convenient to get to / fro from airport. We had a nice view too. Room was spotlessly clean and location was really central. Lots of cafe, restaurants and convinience stores nearby. Staff was really helpful. Convenient as free shuttle to Disneyland was provided and tours can be booked in the lobby.

Having someone like Ishida who showed initiaitve & outstanding customer service was a complete god send to us at a very stressful time.   The hotel was really excellent in all aspects. It was a 10 min walk from the Shinagawa station on JR line providing easy access to the city areas like Harujuku,Tokyo Station, Shinjuku without the hassle of changing to another Metro line. It is also an extremely peaceful location away from all traffic which is a great plus in Tokyo. Staff was wonderful, spoke excellent English which was a relief for us as we are very limited in our Japanese. Very, very clean & very comfortable beds. Buffet breakfast at the Patio was delicious and featured both Western & Japanese food. Super easy access to all of Tokyo as the Shinagawa station is just a 5 minute walk, across the street from the hotel. So very easy to catch the Narita Express for our trip home to the usa.

  The room and the bed were a good size for a single room, by Japanese standards. The welcome we received on our arrival was really great, especially Mr Saido who was very helpful and immediately assisted us even before us asking. The concierge was also very helpful when we were checking out, and it was good that they could communicate in English.... wat mensen zeggen » The view of the Tokyo skyline from my room on the 20th floor was also superb. - It was a lovely hotel with helpful and friendly staff. We had a room with three beds and it was comfortable for three people. It was very clean and all the extra tolietries were a nice touch. The location was great just blocks from the subway and trains. We used the subway and train our entire trip it was so convenient. I definitely recommend this hotel for business or leisure.

  The Shinagawa Prince Hotel is actually a complex of 4 different buildings and each one has different amenities, E.G., our hotel didn't have an ice machine anywhere in the building but our friends who were staying in another building did have one. They also had free wi-fi and we had free ethernet (which doesn't do you much good with an iPhone or iP... wat mensen zeggen » ad). They stored our bags and our friends bags (10 of them) without a fee and without batting an eye. - The hotel has many wings and rooms with different profiles. The cheaper ones are standard Japanese business hotels, i.e. very small, cheap, functional. The more expensive ones give more space and luxury. Both offer good (if not extraordinary) value for money IMHO. The unique selling point of this hotel is that it's a 3min walk from Shinagawa station from which you can get Shinkansen to Kyoto/Osaka, and Yamanote for pretty much anywhere.
