  The people who ran the place were so nice and helpful. They advised me where I should go, what I should do and even gave me a free ride back to the station at the end of my trip. The location is perfectly fine for kyoto as Kyoto works on a bus system not really metro. There is no point paying double or even triple the price of this hostel for a pl... wat mensen zeggen » ace in central, cause granted you will walk around all day, and you will still probably catch the bus home anyway (unlimited bus travel is 500yen (£5) - I loved everything. The family that owned the place were extremely nice and helpful (the husband dropped us off at the station when we checked out in his car) (the wife gave us tips and tricks, pointers where to go and which places to check out), the views are impressive, my boyfriend and I felt thoroughly relaxed staying at their guesthouse, on holiday away from the big city.
