The hotel is nice and our room (two adults and two kids) was quite
large. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We never ate at any of
the hotel restaurants and so cannot comment. As with other Japan hotes
they provide lots of amenities. All in all it was good choice and good

The concierge was amazing! The purpose of my vacation was to see the
temples, see the Gion district, and dress up like a Geisha. She
helped me to plan everything with the buses, trains, taxis, etc. She
had maps for me in English that were extremely helpful. The hotel is
centrally located near the main attractions of Kyoto making it ideal
for my vacation.

Everything was great! The room was cozy for the six days Ive stayed in! Icy cold air conditioning! The owner's mother who runs it is absolutely darling! The hotel is actually quite "self-service" but no worries,
there is a staff that will assist you when you check in. She is really
friendly and helpful. The room was very cozy and comfort, equipped with
microwave, gas stove and a pc. I love the bathroom so much, there's
even a small tv inside the bathroom where you can watch tv while you
enjoying your bath. There is a heater and dryer air system in the
bathroom as well. It's a very good facility especially during winter
when you want to take a s

Location is key to this hotel. It was central to what we wanted to see in kyoto for a day and a half. We were right beside the shoping district district full of restaurants, cafes, and all the different products of kyoto as well as the branded names. The Staff were exceedingly good showing genuine attentive detail. There were several good to excellent English speakers at the hotel. Great sleep in a double bed.
