  It's located near the train station, and bus stop which has easy access to shopping centers and tourist destinations, and the downtown Kyoto. There are some restaurants and convenient stores around the hotel. Rooms are clean, beds and pillows were comfy, and all 3 types of the breakfast were yummy. The public bath was really nice too, good and relaxing, especially after a long walk touring the city. - we had no choice but booked a family room (2 nights) good for 5 people but we were only just 2 adults with our 15 month old since no better hotel was available during our trip. it turned out a great choice because it was very spacious and clean and cozy. my lil toddler love running around. will booked same hotel again if we ever get back to Kyoto next time. worth money spent with good breakfast delivered to our room every morning. :)

  My wife and I stayed there and was very warmly welcomed by the staff. My wife is pregnant but we found sleeping on the tatami mattress comfortable. Aircon works well and the room and toilet was very clean. Also try the set breakfast which you have to pre-order, it was a delicious home-cooked meal. - Decided to get a room with a view of the Japanese garden, was definitely worth the extra money.   The staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Kyoto. There is no elevator and we were on the 4th floor but the guy insisted on carrying our very heavy bags up the stairs until my partner couldn't stand it any longer and took one. The room was comfortable and clean and when we forgot keys they were brought promptly. When they got a taxi ... wat mensen zeggen » for us they came outside to make sure that the destination was clear and waved us off. - I loved the public bath. But also that it was only optional so that we had a private bathroom as well. The staff could not do more for us. They helps us navigate the bus system, we could buy bus passes and rent bikes from them. And even though they had their own resultant, on the days our money was low and we bought meals from the 7/11 down the road they offered their microwave for us to use.
