Absolutely a very pleasant surprise. The room was great with all the facilities, and it's very spacious compared to Japan's standard. The lounge on the 27th floor was just lovely. Location is also unbeatable: it's steps away from jr Osaka station and subway Umeda station.

  Really close to Universal Studio, and next to Universal city station. It'll be a perfect place to stay if you want to go to Universal Studio. Many shops around the hotel, really convenient. The room is spacious. Easy to go to Osaka or Kyoto. You can come early, leave your luggages at the lobby, and the hotel will deliver your luggages to your room... wat mensen zeggen » at 3 pm (their check in time). - The view from our room was just so perfect! Universal Studio was so near we can see the whole park from the wide window. We can also see how beautiful Osaka is . But of course we love the Spa!! The rooms are spacious , clean and have wide windows. We hope tocheck in at the same hotel next time we go to Osaka if possible the same rooms!!!

  Loved the hotel's location. It's very accessible from the Osaka Park Subway Stop on the JR Loop. Makes it super easy to get around and it's lovely to get up early and go for a walk in the park! We paid extra for a room with a castle view and it was well worth it. Even though I asked for a non smoking room well ahead of time, I was told upon arriva... wat mensen zeggen » l they didn't have any to give us. However I couldn't tell the room we had was a smoking room to begin with, and my nose is very sensitive and I had n - The castle-view room at the 12th floor is very spacious for a couple. You have a nice view of the Osaka Castle & Park and the river. The nearest station is Osaka-jokoen, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a convenience store at the nearby building but it closes at 11pm. From the Kansai airport (night arrival), it is more convenient to take the airport limo bus to Hankyu Hotel, then take the taxi to New Otani.

  The hotel is located very conveniently and close to Nankai Express train (express train to Kansai airport) so you do not need to take any taxi. Also it is in the centre of shop and restaurant area. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The room are quite small but for one traveller it was more than enough. Breakfast is generous (partly European sty... wat mensen zeggen » le food, partly Japanese) and during my 3-days stay it was never boring. - The rooms were large and comfortable. There was a great stereo in the room with an ipod docking station. The internet was free and had the option of both wired and wireless. The hotel was in a fantastic location. There is a direct train from Namba station to Kansai Airport (Osaka's main airport), and takes about 50 minutes. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

  The hotel itself is out of this world. I was expecting something good, but my stay there far exceeded expectation! Great room, great bed and amenities; duck down quilts!!! Felt like 1000TC covers. Staff are pretty fluent in English. It's situated smack bang in the middle of the Osaka nightlife, but very quiet! This is the real Osaka on a plate!!! - Hotel with great location, just 2-3 minutes walk from Dotonbori restaurants and nightlife and all the endless shopping arcades. The room was very clean and everything felt new and inviting. Room size was enough for our 2 suitcases and bags so we didnt have any complaints at all. Breakfast was ok but we didnt feel like it was worth the money.

  Almost everything. The room was spacious - a welcome change for the big cities - and had everything that we needed. The staff were very attentive and helpful and the futons were some of the best we slept on. The location is what makes it, though. It's a well known hotel, apparently, so our taxi driver knew exactly where to take us. Location is near Shinsaibashi and Dotonbori and there is a direct exit from the subway to the hotel building. Staff were friendly and helpful and left luggage is stored securely (they keep the luggage inside their office and give you a claim number). Also, it was raining when we stayed there and they lent us umbrellas which was another plus

  The hotel has the best location i can possibly imagine. It's right across the east/south exit from JR Tennoji station. The Shinjuku building nearby has great food, and opens till early in the morning, which is quite rare in Osaka. The staff is really helpful, and they remain vigilant when I asked for directions at 2 am. I requested for a better vie - Plus points 1) The hotel is directly opposite Tennoji Station which is one of the major stations in Osaka. 2) It is about 100 meters from the front door of the Hotel to the train platform for the train to the airport. You don't have to drag your luggages for long distances. 3) The room size is big for Japanese standards.4) The bathroom is superb very bright and filled with full bathroom amenities.5) The toilet seat is heated.6) The shower is great. It is easy to control the water temperature.

The area is Rokko Island, wiped out in the 1995 Kobe earthquake, so everything there is new. If you want to stay in an up scale hotel in Japan and don't have much cash, this is the place.
