  -Hotel is in the station, after you found it it's very very close to shinkansen station and some meter more from JR station. -you are 5 minute train from Osaka station (night life and lots of restaurants) and 30 minutes from Kyoto. -Room was very clean and not tiny: the walls of bathroom made of glass made the room even bigger (but there are tents... wat mensen zeggen » so you can close them if you want) -Great view from 17th floor, very nice huge window alongside the bed -bed was 1 1/2 so big and comfortable (single - Fantastic position inside Shin Osaka station. It is next to the central gate for the Shinkansen on level 3. Look for the Coffee Shop to the left of the gate - it's close to that. Immaculately clean, great staff, room was compact but had every convenience you would need. Definitely would stay here again. Direct train to Kansai Airport (Haruka Express) and 1 stop from Osaka station. Great place to stay on your last day cause the hotel will keep your bags for you and then you can go direct to the

  We had a 1 month trip around Japan :- Tokyo(Asakusa), Tokyo(Yokahama), a cruise, Kyoto, Hiroshima, osaka & back via Helsinki. Throughout Japan we were impressed by the politeness, friendliness & cleanliness & we are sure all hotels at all levels meet the same standards. Rooms have magnificent views of the city, river, mountains & sunset / sunrise. - The hotel staff were so helpful and all seemed to be bilingual. They really were so kind - the waitress at breakfast asked me where I was from, and when I said Australia she came back in two minutes with English guides of Osaka which proved to be so helpful. They were just so proactive.

Room was larger and more comfortable than the place I had come from in Tokyo, and it was clean and comfortable. The beds were great and 2 kinds of pillows were also a bonus.   Loved the hotel's location. It's very accessible from the Osaka Park Subway Stop on the JR Loop. Makes it super easy to get around and it's lovely to get up early and go for a walk in the park! We paid extra for a room with a castle view and it was well worth it. However I couldn't tell the room we had was a smoking room to begin with, and my nose is very sensitive and I had n - The castle-view room at the 12th floor is very spacious for a couple. You have a nice view of the Osaka Castle & Park and the river. The nearest station is Osaka-jokoen, a 5-minute walk from the hotel. There is a convenience store at the nearby building but it closes at 11pm. From the Kansai airport (night arrival), it is more convenient to take the airport limo bus to Hankyu Hotel, then take the taxi to New Otani.
