A interesting neighbourhood surrounding the Nikko with many food options and nearby "family mart " for pre-packaged meals for touring. A very significant mall and department stores directly across the road from the hotel. - The hotel was located in the heart of Osaka's shopping districts. The staff was V. helpful in getting us around the city and to outlying areas by bus, train and subway. The room, semi-double, was V. comfortable and cleaned daily. When we needed extra lighting in the room they obliged. The hotel does have Wi-Fi (other reviewers have said it does not.)

  1. We got clean towels, robes, and new toothbrush everyday. Even we have put "sleeping" sign, they still gave a bag with clean stuff and hanged on door hanger. What a surprise. 2. Great location. But, they organized every stuff very well. I have to say, great job! 5. Love their shampoo, conditioner, face cleanser and body washes! - I personally didn't stay here. I booked it for my mum and brother. But, I did get them signed in and when I dealt with the staff they were great and even though I was using Japanese I could here them speaking to other customers in clear English. My family enjoyed their stay here and had no complaints. Is in a perfect location for exploring Osaka and was a fantastic deal.

The location was fantastic as there were two train lines running just beneath and the shuttle bus to the Kansai Airport was at its doorstep. The area is Rokko Island, wiped out in the 1995 Kobe earthquake, so everything there is new. If you want to stay in an up scale hotel in Japan and don't have much cash, this is the place.
