  Prachtige omgeving. Er is een overdekte parking naast het hotel. De bushalte is recht voor de deur van het hotel. Onze kamer was zeer mooi met terras en zeezicht. Het ontbijt op het terras van de eetzaal is zalig. Het zwembad is groot en er zijn voldoende ligzetels. Ook zwemmen in de zee is er heerlijk als je nog goed trappen kun doen.   Had a wonderful (too short!) stay in this hotel in the centre of Positano. Deluxe room beautiful with large terrace and fabulous views, worth the extra. Staff very polite and friendly, great attention to detail. Fantastic food and wine choice in the restaurant, ended up having all our meals there (a first!).   We leisure travel extensively around the world, and price is no bar when choosing where to stay. However, we prefer places with character that add to the memories, as opposed to indifferent chain-style hotels. We spend our time outside the hotel, but like to have a comfortable place to stay.   I first visited Positano 2 years ago. The location of the Savoia is perfect. The family that runs the hotel, and in particular Claudia, are wonderful and very knowledgeable. One truly gets a feel for the region when staying at the Savoia. The breakfast is plentiful and the variety is excellent. The hotel is close to the center, so it's easy to get... wat mensen zeggen » to the beach for sunbathing, shopping or taking the ferry. The local bus stops almost directly in front of the hotel. This will be my hotel of choice - The hotel was nicely located and easy to get to by cab. You were able to get dropped off right in front of the hotel by car. If you come by boat, you would need to take the steep walk up to the hotel, though porters are readily available to take your luggage. The staff was very helpful and even called our next hotel for us to ask a few questions. The room was clean and nicely decorated and we had a partial view of the water.   The hotel grounds were amazing, and the pools were cleaned everyday, the breakfast was great eggs and bacon and delicious cakes. And the staff were great. - Beautiful location and friendly staff. Lovely hotel and spa. Good buffet type breakfast. I come here regularly and enjoy it every time.

  We were met at the reception by 'Gina' who was courteous and pleasant. We were offered a glass of proseco in the garden, taking in the view of Capri, while we waited for our room.   Besides the absolutely stunning views of the ocean and Positano, the hotel itself was gorgeous, clean, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The one guy who handled the pool area/bar, luggage to you room, etc, was outstanding. Constantly helping us with whatever we needed- drinks in hand, towels for the pool, reserving chairs at the po... wat mensen zeggen » ol, ordering snacks, etc, he genuinely seemed to care about the hotel as if it was his family staying there. We also lucked out and were given a free - The staff at the Marincanto were just too amazing... Right from check-in .. To the lady who got the luggage to the room.. To the pool attendant Gianni ... To the front desk staff at check out...all super super hospitable..!! They went out of their way to make me feel at home..!!! The location is perfect & just a short walk from the beach & shopping & restaurants ... In short.... Total value for money...& I'm definitely staying at the Marincanto next time I'm in Positano..!

  The view is just amazing and its position in Sorrento great. The breakfasts were the best of all our 3 weeks in Italy and the staff very helpful. - Excellent view of the bay of Naples from our balcony. Our room was bright clean and had a large balcony and the staff were very friendly.

  Outstanding view of the sea from the hotel. We liked the beach below the hotel. We also enjoyed the three-course dinner. The value for the money was much better than the restaurant in Positano that we tried. The service at the hotel provided by Felix and his staff was excellent. The bus stop 50 m from the hotel made it convenient to reach the hote... wat mensen zeggen » l when we traveled from Positano and Sorrento, We also used this bus stop when we went to Amalfi. - Great value for this area, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G views, 15-minute walk into Positano, so a little away from all the crowds and noise, wide variety of foods provided for Continental breakfast, the owner Felice Murano, is an accomplished chef and will prepare deliciously simple Italian foid for dinner on request, a quiet beach and 'Path of the Gods' close by, the staff are courteous, accomodating of my needs and very helpful.
