  The Sheraton is a visually beautiful hotel - if you don't look close. The design, layout, gardens and views are all perfect. My room had a view of the gardens, pools and Mt. Merapi. The staff went out of the way to make sure I was having a good time. The rooms are large and airy but very worn down.   My luxuriously outfitted room had a superbly comfortable bed that I didn't want to get out off and a lovely modern decor. The bathroom was huge, clean and very nice. I also encountered great service from all staff, ranging from front desk to restaurant service staff to spa therapists. The restaurant/coffee house staff were exceedingly accommodative to our requests. The interior decor through out the hotel are pleasing to the eyes with warm colours. The breakfast is excellent - we thought it was one of the best hotel breakfast that we've had. The nice smell as you enter the hotel.
