  This is one of the best boutique hotels we have stayed in. The staff were outstanding. Very helpful with suggestions particularly for restaurants in the area and catching the metro/ferries etc. The room was large and very comfortable with a mini kitchen. We had a room on the 1st floor at the back which had a lovely balcony and was not noisy. Being... wat mensen zeggen » on the first floor it was easy to walk up and down the stairs. It is well located in the Plaka district and easy walk to Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, - The hotel is charming, beautiful, clean with a staff that is so helpful and welcoming. They provide champagne and chocolates upon arrival. Additionally, they helped us with our boarding passes. They are right in the Plaka district within walking distance to many of the attractions. Loved it. And, I purposely left a pair of sneakers there and when I returned home there was an e mail letting me know that I had left them....and they wanted to know what I wanted them to do with them. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

  We loved our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, great service, personal approach. We felt at home there. The room had a retro style to it which reminded me my childhood home. I loved it. Actually, there is free wireless almost everywhere you go in Athens. Our room was cleaned daily and towels changed. Every day we would - The staff at Acropolis were fantastic...very helpful and friendly. The location in the Plaka was convenient. We were able to walk most places and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn it on.
